Issue of Washington County casino riverboat --MY VOTE IS NO!
With such hasty publicity on the issue, I want to do some personal evaluation. Gambling does not make money. gambling takes money.
Money is needed for many positive projects of the area, and I'll vote to support: our churches, schools for area children, public library, food pantry, Historical Village, Habitat for Humanity, sports and arts for students and numerous others.
My concern is more than dollars and cents -- it's morals, principles, future of our community and family needs.
I support C.A.R.E. (Communities Against Riverboat Expansion). Won't you please consider the same?
