Another charity helping those in need is the Salvation Army, a branch of the Salvationist Church of America. While they mainly help the homeless, drug addicted and chronicly alcoholic, they also come to the aid of those in need in a disaster. In this situation, they have sprung into action, and will gladly accept your donations.
