As you all know by now the WWF has bought out the WCW. I will state to you what I PREDICT will happen. This prediction is made up by me and me only. I copulated all the ideas and rumors I have heard and I came up with the following possibility. Because WCW is now owned by Shane McMahon and the WWF is owned by Vince expect some inter-promotional action. I see in the future that Shane will side himself with wrestlers that will help him defeat all competition that Vince throws at him. Some wrestlers that most likely will side with Shane are, Booker T, Sean O’Haire, Sean Stasiak, Big Poppa Pump and probably Sting or Nash. The names that will most likely not be in any of these inter-promotional events will be, Hogan, Goldberg, Jarret, Rhodes and Hall. Look forward to a amazing duel promotion PPV in the early summer. It will be highly anticipated and well worth your buy.
This coming Sunday is the biggest day in wrestling. Wrestlemania X-7. This will probably be a good show. Although I do think this lacks the big time storyline, but most of you will differ. My predictions go as follows. The Rock will most likely come up on top after the heavyweight title match. Why you ask? Well, the most expected thing to happen is Austin to win and then take on Vince for another six months. But I can’t see it happening. If by any chance that Austin does come up on top, look for a heel turn for The Rock. Because of all the possible stars, that the WWF could sign to their company and the fact that Triple H is about to get his push to face. I expect this to happen before SummerSlam.
The street fight between the McMahons will probably be the most exciting match in the whole event. The addition of Mic Foley as the special guest referee will pay great dividends in the outcome. I believe even though Mic is totally against Vince, he will still count the 1, 2, 3 in his favor. Watch for an interference by either HHH or Stephanie which will add fuel to the fire and lead to Shane bringing in some WCW talent.
The last match I will critique is the intercontinental title match. This match will be on the boring side most likely, but it will be dividends in the future. It is only a matter of time before Jericho gets major push. The WWF writers and bookers love the way that Jericho talks and performs and a future match between Jericho and HHH is highly anticipated. By Jericho losing at WrestleMania, he will finally be removed for the inter division and probably go for all the gold. And because I am a proud Canadian, I hope to see it happen.
I must clear up one thing before I end this beauty off. The rumors saying the DX will be brought back are false. The DX legend is dead in the minds of WWF and the only way it would ever come back is if the WWF were ever in trouble of losing the rating battle and you know for sure that will never happen.
