Spells
There are many things that can affect how well your spells will work, and how powerful they will be. Most of whitch being the position (relative to all the other planets), and phase the moon is in. I would suggest that every body that is going to "dabble" in magic, would go and get themselves a calander that indicates the phases the moon is in.
The first thing to keep in mind when you are casting a spell is the material you are using. If you are using any kind of plant or herb, make sure it is in it's pure and natural state. For example, you are using PATCHOULI for sexual magic, and you have gotten some from the mall in an oil form. Your spell will more than likely fail, no matter how much concentration you use. Most commercialy bought materials such as that afore mentioned, has been treated, or even contains some sort of synthetic material.
The patchouli oil I used for this example, more than likely has large quantities of acetone in it, or has been man made. This is the case with the majority of products you will find on the market.
The closer to the materials natural state you can get, The better your spell will work, and the more powerful it will be.
The materials and herbs I have available are in their pure and natural state, and have NO MAN MADE materials in them.
When you are using writings to complete your magic, or to record your magic in your diary, you should use a "MAGICAL" alphabet to do this with. There are two reasons for this...
It will force you to concentrate more on your work, hence giving your spell a greater power.
This will conceal your spells and writings from others.
