Infertility strikes 1 out of every six women who want to conceive and six million American families. This is a very delicate condition for most women that experience infertility. As women, we were reared expecting to have a baby someday. I have thought about being a mommy ever since I played with dolls.

While trying to cope with all of this emotional turmoil, we get invited to baby showers or learn that a friend is pregnant. We read about babies being found abandoned in trash dumpsters. Mundane activities like a walk down the street or going to the shopping mall are packed with land mines. While watching TV, we are bombarded by commercials for diapers, baby food and early pregnancy tests. Just as an ordinary room can be an obstacle for a blind person, so can the everyday world be full of hazards for an infertile woman....hazards that do not exist for women who are able to conceive.

It is so easy to get caught up in the emotions that we experience on a daily basis. We allow life to simply pass by because we are so consumed with sorrow and depression. But remember, every disappointment is a trial of your faith....a test that proves the geuineness of your relationship with GOD and His Word. GOD always moves and acts on His schedule, not ours...no matter how much we cry or complain about or situation...GOD is going to work a miracle in your life when He is ready.

GOD may not let you see the plans He has for you at the moment, but He will use your trusting submissiveness to minister to others. GOD shows pictures of Himself through your life. He gives the world a living epistle ~ you. He will place you in the same kind of fire, the same kind of disappointments and trials that so many others experience. He lets you hurt as others hurt, knowing that the way in which you handle this hurt will be an undeniable testimony that there is something awesomely different about you.....pause and think about that

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)
