Terms I Refuse To Use

I may as well admit it. Misuse of the English language by English speakers truly annoys me!
Here are a few examples that make me cringe...

Ignored or Inappropriate Apostrophies
MENS' ROOM
"Your right about that"

Mixing Capital And Lower Case Letters
(Especially the letter "L")
YARD SAlE

Trunicated Phonetics with Numbers
TUFF ENUF 2 B RUFF ENUF 4 U
NITE CLUB, LITE BEER, BAR-B-Q

(Yes, they look cute on a license plate, and save bandwidth on a newsgroup,
and they may even make a telephone number easier to remember
but in print, they are an abomination sent directly from Hades.)

But I wish it to be known that I openly rebuke and denounce the following as attacks on the English language and refuse to use them!
Beneath each one, I list the term I use in replacement.
They may make communications briefer, but that is akin to bulldozing a 20 lane highway through a pristine, virgin rainforest so one can drive their recreational vehicle to the convenience store.

Just in case anyone is wondering, "@" for "at" is acceptable for me.
It has taken contemporary usage just as the ampersand ("&") stands for "and".

I will update this page regularly as I come across other bits of anguished English.

BAR-B-Q / BBQ
barbeque

CYBER-anything
(The prefix has been over-used to have any impact.)

DENYABILITY
can be denied, can deny

DOWNLOADABLE
may (or can) be downloaded

EDUTAINMENT
educational entertainment

EATERTAINMENT
themed restaurants

EZ
easy

INFOMERCIAL
paid program, program length commercial

JAPANAMATION
anime, Japanese animation
(It smacks too much of the ethnic slur, "Jap").

PHAT
enticing
(Supposedly, "phat" is an acronym for "Pretty Hot And Tempting")
