Religious Old Man

There was a religious man who lives in a house in the bottom of a valley. One time the rain season came and it kept on raining for days the valley became flooded. The man house was flooded to his knee but the man did not evacuate, a care drove by:
Drive: "Hey old man jump in and I drive you to safety."
The Man: "No thank! I have faith that god will help me."
So the car left, three days later the water has cover the house. The old man was standing on his rooftop. A boat came by:
Driver: "Hey old man jump into my boat and I'll bring you to a safe place."
The Man: holding his bible in his hand " No thanks I have faith that god will save me."
Three more days gone by, the water was up to the man neck. A helicopter came by.
Drive: "Hey old man get on and I'll bring you to safety."
The Man: raised his bible in his hand " No thanks I have faith that god shall save me."
Three days later the water was over the man head and he die. He got to heaven's door and demanded to talk to god.
The man: "God, I have put all my faith in you why did you let me die in the flood?"
God says: " You fool! I have send you helps three times why didn't you take them!"
