As tacky and stupid as it sounds, people often get their cues on how to attract from popular culture. (C'mon, I know you do!) As a result, I have decided to post up a section on "media" which I think is of great benefit to study from if you are really serious about this art form.
For more information...
Cruel Intentions - This is probably the most modern and sickest movie to "study" from. Watch out for the lesbian kiss ^^
American Pie - Gross, yes, but a definite must-see to really nut-out what the opposite sex thinks about. Truthful, shall we say?
Vertigo - Okay, so this is my fave Alfred Hitchcock movie (it has really good camera work!) and it also possesses some really good tips on how to make someone obsessed with you. Watch and you shall learn...
Kylie Minogue video clips - Is it just me, but are the video clips from her "Light Years" album an excuse for porn on TV? I like the move in the Kids video clip with Robbie Williams where she does the hand-moving-up-his-shoulder thing. Guys, watch what Robbie then does with his eyes. V. nice. =)
The X Files - It's really very engrossing watching Mulder and Scully brew away with that question stuck in the back of your mind - "When are they going to f*ck?" But from a student's point of view, the "looks" the two FBI Special Agents give to each other are exemplary - piercing, yet engaging.
Calvin Klein ads - The models in these ads are usually in some pretty good poses. Note how everyone seems to "look through you" in that almost disturbing, yet stangely enchanting manner of inquisitive glaring.
Gucci "Envy" ads - The two people in the ad are certainly close enough. Now, that's intimacy! (Oh, if you're ever involved in a situation like that and you're the person whom you can't see the face of, make sure you wear ample deoderant!)
TheSpark.com - TheSpark has a number of tests (e.g Slut, Purity, Bastard, Sex, Pregnancy) which give a surprisingly accurate description of what your seduction tactics and the future which comes as a result. Very... educational?
