I'M
MISU THE CAT

I am half Lynxpoint and half Himalayan. I am now 15 years old, I weigh more than 12 lbs, I have BIG crystal blue eyes, and I am REALLY BEAUTIFUL....I look just like a wild lynx! You pronounce my name Mee-SOO...like ME, TOO! Oh, and I am kinda chubby so I walk "slew-footed" as my ladies call it!

I live with my family Sunny, Rainbow and their Mom, whom I call Helen. They rescued me frpm a shelter and we have been together for over 11 years now.

I sleep on an antique MINK STOLE that I managed to con Sunny out of, cause she used to WEAR it! I really love it and knead it with my paws all the time! I have lotsa cool toys like a beautiful used and well-loved scratching post, a peacock feather which is now pretty raggedy and a great fuzzy stuffed ball that I can kick with my hind legs.

Every day one of my ladies feeds me cat snackies by hand. YUMMMMMM-EE

They have lots of fuzzy soft blankies for me to sleep on. i love to cuddle with them each night. Sometimes I wake one of them up at 3am if I am lonesome!

I BASICALLY DO WHAT I WANT AND NO ONE CAN STOP ME! They wouldn't even think of trying!

Sometimes I help Rainbow make her beadwork. YAWN! B-O-R-I-N-G! She makes wonderful bright shiny amulet purses and other things. I like to sit under the lamp while she works. SOMETIMES I get the tiny little beads on my NOSE.....ACHOOOOO! But most of the time I just hang out on the desk to keep her company. When I want her to pet me, I sit on the project she is workng on. We sew together. I plop my big cat butt down on whatever she is working on. I love the tissue paper patterns and the ribbons and threads!

I LIKE TO LIE ON THE FLOOR WITH MY LEGS POINTING AT THE CEILING.

I WOULD NEVER EAT A MOUSE. HOW DISGUSTING! I only ever eat CAT FOOD!

I LOVE ICE CUBES IN MY PINK WATER GLASS.

I DON'T DO IT OFTEN, BUT I HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO SING OPERA! I MAY EVEN BE BETTER THAN PAVAROTTI!

I WAS RESCUED FROM THE SHELTER...I spotted them right away when they arrived and looked as sad as I could. It must have worked because her we are still together after almost eleven years...AND WE'RE STILL HAVING LOADS OF FUN! They don't even mind if I wake them up in the middle of the night JUST to say "Hello!" (MEOOWWWWW).

I really like petting! The more the better. I just purrrrrrr and they love that! They will pet me as long as I want...or until I get enough and BITE them! THEY like when I rub noses with them, but "nose kissies" are not given out EVERY DAY. Only when I WANT!


Sometimes Rainbow and I swing dance to Big Bad Voodoo Daddy! My favorite is "Mr. Pinstripe Suit" Cause I am a pinstriped CAT, a real HEPCAT I am!

I can really JUMP JIVE and WAIL!

AND do I ever love "Cat on A Hot Tin roof". You should see me dance to THAT one!

USUALLY ALL I HAVE TO DO IS BLINK MY BIG BABY BLUE EYES AND I CAN GET ANYTHING I WANT!!! ESPECIALLY MORE SNACKIES!

They make up silly songs about me all of the time. THe funniest one ends "...BOOM BOOM BOOM!" I shake my booty from side to side then and I say "BOOM"...BUT, of course it sounds like "MEEEEOOOOWWW". Maybe some day we'll do a conga line....WHAT FUN THAT WILL BE!

I love to visit Ma in her bedroom. I have a special place to sit on her bed. She scratches me with my back scratcher, pets me and talks to me. I can con her into more snackies a-n---y old time! I just look up at her in her electric wheelchair and meow my saddest MEooowwwW and like MAGIC....POOF!...OUT COME THE CAT SNACKIES...YUMMMMMM! WORKS EVERY TIME!

Sunny sometimes reads the Tarot cards.

HMMMPH! She thinks she knows all and sees all, but that's really ME! I HAVE E-S-P.....EXTRA SNACKIE PERCEPTION!
