WEDNESDAY, APRIL 25TH, 2001 (1:29am)
I missed my practice last Thursday because my mom left the house to go somewhere with my dad and she had the car keys in her jacket pocket. So I had no choice but to do a practice at home in my carpeted basement. Other than that, I found out the week before that Red Mask will be performing during the Hot Import Shows held on May 18-19-20. I am almost ready to start remaking this site now...the brainstorming process for layouts is the longest. Stay tuned!

TUESDAY, APRIL 10TH, 2001 (12:06am)
Well Maximum Heat on Saturday night held at the Rock Gym was a huge success. It was my 1st time going to a breakdancing jam and it was a great experience. There was about 150 people/breakers in attendance that evening assembled on the 4th floor of the Rock Gym. 1st off was some freestyling. Then came the main battle between Illmatic Styles and Fastep. Both crews were pretty tight busting everything from powermoves to crazy style and footwork. I was really impressed to see different styles of footwork and phat freezes coming out of nowhere. Fastep won the battle. In between, short intermissions would be used to let anyone freestyle on the floor. Next was the 2 on 2 bgirl battle. It was a Solid State/Dysfunkshn mix battle. Great style by the bgirls were demonstrated between the two team-ups. Then was a 2 on 2 battle between Red Mask member's KLiSH and Rockit and two asian bboys. Both crews were really tight but Red Mask dominated. I don't remember if it was before or after this but there was a popping battle between Poppa Locka and Speedy. It was the best popping show I have ever seen. I was rooting for Speedy cause he was dope. Afterwards, it was just an open freestyle session til' 1am. I left around 12:15am. I was able to take about 5-6 good pictures. I'll post them once my roll is done.

For other news, Rockon 2001 will be held on June 30th at Parc Jean-Drapeau. I do not have any information about the ticket prices yet but I'll tell you as soon as I know. Up to know, I heard that 5 members from the Rocksteady Crew are supposed to be at the event. Nothing is sure yet though.

THURSDAY, MARCH 29TH, 2001 (2:42am)
So I got news from Goldylocks and he still doesn't have a set date for Rockon 2001 but he said it'll probably be for the end of May. But for now, there is another break jam for all of you set on Saturday April 7th 2001. It'll be held at the Rock Gym. Doors open at 8:45pm. The event will run from 9pm to 1am. It is organized by Tactical Crew members Omegatron and Bloodyface. I'm glad cause I'll be able to go to this jam. Here is the flyer for the event. Hope to see all of you there!

MONDAY, MARCH 19TH, 2001 (11:08pm)
On Saturday March 17th 2001, the Montreal Gazette had an article in the Arts & Entertainment section about breakdancing and they also talked about the Montreal Bgirl crew SOLID STATE. If you picked up a copy of the Hour about 2 weeks ago, they were on the front cover. (The link for that article is posted below too) I found this article very interesting but when I went to the Montreal Gazette web site, they didn't even post it up!!! Instead they put up a bullsh*t article about the Popstars tv show. So then, I decided to scan the articles myself. Damn, I tell you that it's one messy job scanning newspapers and a real pain if you ask me. I had to scan half a page at a time and then merge them together using Photoshop. Anyways, after getting a keyboard, scanner, and mouse full of newspaper ink stains from my fingers, I managed to get the job done. Props go out to Solid State. Keep up the good work and don't stop the body rock.

I still have not received the set date for Rockon 2001. Goldylocks should give me the date soon. I heard about this other breakdancing jam called Maximum Heat but I don't know when that will happen. I'll get informed when I go practice at the Vic Gym this thursday. Um...and finally, I'm almost to the point of pushing myself to revamp this site up. I'm thinking of abandoning the angelfire server due to its extremely slow server I must say. So throughout the next few weeks, you should notice some slow changes. I'm not sure whether I should still make it the Break Ninjaz site cause we are not really together anymore. We have all gone our separate ways. Maybe I'll make some kind of hip hop site where our crew could be a section of the site itself...well you'll see when I get the brainstorms going.

FRIDAY, MARCH 16TH, 2001 (10:13am)
Whoa, it's been a while since I've touched this site. It seems weird because for the past two weeks, I have been getting about 60-65 hits a week..hmm not bad at all. Well I got word from Goldylocks that ROCKON2001 will be in effect. What I'm not sure about is when it will be held. The first date he gave me was March 31st but it says April on his site. A member of Tactical then told me it was postponed until June 2001. So that is that. When I get the final word, I will tell you asap. I think that I will be doing a makeover of this site when I'll have the time in the future.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 11TH, 2001 (11:14am)
I'm currently at school right now. I just finished registering my courses for the semester. I'm once again updating from school cause' my comp has gone wack man! There's a problem with the motherboard and I might have to send it to TO to get it fix. Anyways, I hope to get it back soon cause' I have tons of updates that I want to do. I have not been breaking a lot lately but have been practicing though. Due to my schedule, I will now be able to go practice at the Vic gym on Tuesday nights and maybe Thursdays. I've been with my family a lot during Christmas so just for fun, I decided to teach my little cousin Charles (10 years old) some breaking. He's pretty good at it. He could do the worm, helicopter, and uprock. It was cool to hear that he actually breaked for his family at his house and even asked people to form a circle for him to break hehe. Good stuff! He will be better than me if he keeps it up..not that I'm that good anyways. Just to say that kids learn ultra fast. So that's my special story of the day.

Did you guys see this dance thing on tv about 1 week ago? It had something to do about dancing in MTL and Jonas Napoleon from Tactical Crew was interviewed. It was awesome man. I never seen him break before and I'm sure he has even more amazing moves than that. He also did a choreography with Kate which was phat! Anyways, be back next time with more updates.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 7TH, 2000 (10:13am)
Well this is the first time I'm updating directly from school. I had nothing to do so I told myself that I might as well update the news section. It sucks now that the breakdance class at McGill is over. Now me and my friends will have to practice individually until we could hook up for a session. Thanks to Bgirl Viva for teaching the course at McGill. It helped me and my friend Stefan improve on our style and refine our footwork as well. As for upcoming breakdancing jams, there is apparently gonna be one on December 26th(Boxing Day) with Tactical Crew but I'll have to get back to you for the place and time.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 18TH, 2000 (4:20pm)
I have finally completed the About Us section. The graphics are up and running. It was a pain in the ass because I have a wonderful 31K connection so it takes freaking forever to upload pictures. Anyways, I'll try to make new changes to the other sections as well. Oh yeah, don't forget to go see the Auto Show at the Olympic Stadium this weekend (September 17-18-19). It's gonna be hot. Nice cars, girls, music, and Tactical Crew's performing too. Check Sport Compact Performance for more details.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12TH, 2000 (3:20am)
Ok, I have been having trouble accessing the net for the past 3 weeks because our phone lines have been screwing up on us. I think it's finally fixed so now I can continue to update from where I left off last time. The main graphics for the About Us section has been put up but needs more work. Stefan told me and I also saw in this week's Mirror that Red Mask will be performing on Saturday November 18th at the Faste Fou. Admissions are $2.00. The show starts at 10pm.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 24TH, 2000 (2:35am)
Wassup? Alright, I've been doing some minor modifications to the site. Everything is about 50% done to expectations now so that's pretty good. I have just fixed up the pictures section. Everything is properly divided into galleries now for easier access. It used to be such a mess. And I finally posted the 15 pics of the USA Dancers so go check that out. It's in gallery six.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 16TH, 2000 (5:25pm)
What's up people? 1st of all and most importantly, the BN and friends would like to wish Rici a very happy b-day. HAPPY B-DAY BRO! We went to his party last night that was held in Longueuil and it was dope. Alot of food, people, and the music was coming from DJ SUN and DJ MELLO-D. We did a break session since it was also the BN's 1st year anniversary. We just went all out and I think it was a good performance. The party was great and we thank Rici for that. Have a nice one bro!

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 14TH, 2000 (5:42pm)
"If you fear of hurting yourself to try new moves, then don't break at all."

What's up yall? I haven't updated this site for a while now. I'm now on a 33K connection so that sucks ass man! I used to be at 52K which was ok. It'll take more time to upload stuff now.

I went to NYC last week for labour day weekend and on my 2nd day there, I saw some mad breakers at Pier 17. They were doing a show which was pretty tight. I managed to snap about a dozen pics of them breaking so stay tuned for that. As well, I'm working on overhauling this site bit by bit.

Lastly, me and Stefan signed-up to a breakdancing class given at McGill. It's a beginner's class but we hope the instructor(apparently teaches at Rock Gym) will show us some powermoves and stuff. It'll be a good experience for us. Until then, bookmark this page and come back next time. Laters!

MONDAY, AUGUST 21ST, 2000 (1:30pm)
"When you break, break like nobody's watching and go all out!"

A breakdancing event is coming up on Saturday August 26th @ Club Soda. It's called ON DA GOOD FOOT and comprises of several breakdancing crews from Montreal and TO. Crews that will be there include Flow Rock, Tactical, Boogie Brats, Bag of Trix, Battle Utensils, and Red Mask. There will also be a Bgirl show. This event is for all ages. Tickets are $16.00 in advance and $20.00 @ the door. The doors open @ 8:00pm.

Well well, school has started although I only had one class today. All I had to do was draw myself on paper so that was relaxing.

It was my pleasure to hook up with Bboy Twister from the Northern Lights Crew last Friday. He's from Quebec and came down to Boucherville to visit one of his high school friends. I went to pick him up and we went to break @ the dance studio for a bit. The stereo wasn't set up yet so we had to break without any music which was a little unmotivating. But in the end, it was cool to meet another breaker whom I've never met before besides on the net.

It's back to school so I'll probably be able to practice more often now. The dance studio is where it's at. If you're a breaker, just contact me and we can arrange some break sessions at the studio sometime.

MONDAY, AUGUST 6TH, 2000 (9:44pm)
"Don't believe in love - don't believe in hate - Don't believe in anything that you can't break"

Oh shit, I haven't touched this site for over 1 month now. Damn! I'm almost done with my summer job so now, I try to find time every night to update my sites ya know. I think I'm gonna do a major overhaul of this site when I can cause' the look is getting old...I'm getting tired of it too hehe. If you have any suggestions, please e-mail me or contact me via icq.

I haven't had much time to practice lately cause' of work and all but soon, school will start which means me and the guys will be able to go practice @ the school's dance studio so that's all good. I can't wait. Hmmm what else? My uncle lent me his camcorder so I get some footage of myself and the BN breaking. Having a camcorder is really good cause' you can see yourself break and improve on your mistakes. Anyways, that's all I have for now. Please come back another time. I'm on my way of uploading some recent pictures now. Laters

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 28TH, 2000 (10:04pm)
"Breakdancing is coming back. We see it everywhere these days"

Well, it has started to finally warm up outside this week. I'm not doing much these days. I'm mostly working all week and then hangout with my friends @ the end of the week.

Alot of new pictures have been added in the Pictures section so go take a look.

When me, Frankie, and Brent went to the Goon party last Saturday @ the new Club soda, we saw Red Mask. They were there partying as well. @ the end of the night, some good beats came on so they formed a circle to break. Then, me and Frankie watched some other breakers rip it in the circle and then, we went. It was cool. Red mask, You guys are really phat breakers man. Keep it real!

"Breakdancing is like having special powers" - BN JP

Hello to you all. Well this weekend is the Gravity Rock breakdancing event. It's being held in Cote des Neiges near the metro. It's an' outdoor event which includes break crews such as Tactical Crew, Red Mask, Da Lunatic Breakaz, Boogie Brats, Canadian Floor Masters, and Flow Rock themselves(the organisers of this event). It's held from 12pm to 6pm. On Sunday, there will be another jam session with the same crews(I think) @ Foufoune Electrique. I think me and my friends will check that out.

Other than that, me and my bros are taking a week off from breaking cause' some of us are still healing from partial injuries(hint..wrists). In the meantime, I try to work on my uprock/toprock cause' it sucks hehe. Ok, well be back next time with a new update. I'm getting a scanner soon so you'll get to see more pictures. Also, I've added a new link in the links section. It's a crew from QC called "The Northern Lights Crew". Check them out.

SATURDAY, JUNE 3RD, 2000 (12:47am)

Sup! Yesterday, we had a mad break session going on @ the dance studio with alot of breakers...some new faces. It's cool. We learn alot from them cause' they're more experienced and stuff. We'll try to practice every Friday cause' it's really cool. We plan to form a big crew amongst them, that's beside the break ninjaz you'll be like an' affiliation. Well, can't wait to practice some more man. Keep it real! Oh yeah, I just added a little flash animation on the entrance page. I know it's a little shitty cause' it was like my 1st movie. I'll keep practicing and get better soon. Also, new break pics should be up pretty soon so come back later.

SUNDAY, MAY 27TH, 2000 (2:26am)

Man, we've been breaking alot this week. On Friday, we practiced with some Karl and his friends @ some youth center in St-Hubert. Then later that night, me, Frankie, and Stefan went to meet our friends @ Le Skratch and we ended up breaking there as well cause' they have this really nice dancefloor so we were tempted and just decided to let loose. And on Saturday, we went to Stefan's house to practice some more. It's good to see that we're improving. Anyways, I'm feeling sleepy now so I'll update next week. Later! BTW, new pictures are up in the PICTURES section. More pics coming soon...introducing the Break Ninjettes...
