Carlos Santana, born in Autlan de Navarro, Jalisco, Mexico in 1947 has been my favorite artist for many years. His combination of latin and rock guitar playing has always fascinated me. His song, "Spirits dancing in the flesh" inspired me to write a webpage about my ancestors as I feel their spirits are indeed dancing all around me. If you would like to know about Santana, the man, please be sure to read his interview with Hispanic Magazine in March of 1996. This article was news to me, as I have only listened to his music and never did any research on the man, himself.
