Bell Creek Canyon

Bell Creek is a very narrow canyon for most of its length. Just at the right time of day, narrow shafts of sunlight can penetrate right to the canyon floor - lighting it all up with a beautiful red glow.
Early on in the canyon, you have to wade through a few chest-deep pools before you get properly wet... You spend so much time just trying to keep dry, when you will only end up swimming soon enough.
This is taken at the point where the "classic" Bell Creek constriction section begins - a very long section of extremely narrow canyon, which is swimming (or floating in our case!) for almost all the way. It can get very cold in there.
This is the junction of Bell Creek and Du Fuars Creek - at the end of Bell Creek Canyon itself. From here on, the journey to the exit down Du Fuars Creek Canyon is significantly wider.
