Chapter 2: The Kingdom's Myth

Gin: Rika? Who is that?
Nikkei: Rika was appointed by myself to guard the Lower Kingdom.
Aure: So what happened exactly? Why did he turn on you?
Nikkei: It all began five thousand years ago. The earth had just been created and every thing was new to all. I created protectorates of the earth.
Nikkei: In the Upper Kingdom were my angels. There was a Middle Kingdom where people resided.
Nikkei: Soon the people of the Middle Kingdom began to die as people do. They did not have the prolonged life spans such as we did.
Nikkei: I needed a world where they could go to after their lives had ended. So I created the Lower Kingdom.
Nikkei: I ruled the Upper Kingdom so a young man I trusted was then appointed to watch over it and make sure things ran smoothly.
Nikkei: Then one day there were reports from different elemental angels that some strange entities were terrorizing those on the Middle Kingdom. Angels had seen those protectorates of the Lower Kingdom terrorizing those in the Middle Kingdom.
Himi: I don’t understand why though. How could an angel just become a pure demonic force like that?
Nikkei: An ancient evil was hiding under the depths of the surface. It was buried so deep that no one could detect it.
Nikkei: The evil force drove Rika’s advancing insanity farther.
Nikkei: This evil force was a demon that was banished when the world was in tremendous chaos. Her name was Ashura. She could not win against me and was hence banished from this earth.
Nikkei: She obviously did not want to be detected but I could faintly make her out. But by then a large stone plate had covered the Lower Kingdom and I could not reach her.
Nikkei: Ashura was a demon of fighting and she would not give up. So she joined bodies with Rika so that he would realize her goal.
Nikkei: When the entity Ashura took over, his personality was reversed. He became a vengeance hungry demon. He was convinced that I had sent him there as a punishment and so he turned against me.
Nikkei: He convinced other angels that I also had wronged them in some way.
Nikkei: After that a war ensued. Then the past Soul Warriors appeared and drove back his forces. However I was injured at the time. The Ultimate Warrior appeared. Some how Rika and myself were encased in crystal. Then about a month ago an earthquake cracked the crystal graves we were in and he was unleashed to full fill the goal set forth by Ashura.
Gin: I remember reading about that earthquake. It wasn’t very strong though.
Nikkei: Well, after I was incased with Rika, the Kingdoms went through a time of misguidance and turbulence.
Nikkei: It did not take very much to set us free because in those times the many problems surrounding the earth slowly broke down the cases we were in.
Keb: I still don’t see how the Kingdoms were created in the first place.
Nikkei: In the beginning, there was the Light. For that matter, there was always the Light. The Light is the Ineffable. The Light is all things real and all possibilities, mind and consciousness and Spirit itself.
Nikkei: The Light, being of beyond infinite love, since infinite is such a limiting word for the Light, decided to share that love with a Child. Nikkei: And thus the Spirit of Light was born. This Child has all the attributes of the Parent, in smaller terms, as any Child does. This Child was created Infinite, Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnibenevolent, and Perfect. I was this child.
Nikkei: I loved the Parent fully, and the Parent loved me infinitely. Yet I was created of Spirit, and was Spirit. I was all Spirit, but not All Light. So I am Light that came from the Light, or the Light from the Light. Yet I, the child of Spirit, grew lonely as there was nothing and no one else of spirit. So I asked the Light what to do, and the Light responded, "The One shall become Two."
Nikkei: And thus were born the other angels. One was feminine and one masculine. And they praised the Light, and loved the Light. So the novice angels played with each other like any other children do, but eventually wanted to play with something. So they I created the Upper Kingdom and seven Realms of Spirit or the Seven Heavens for them to play in.
Nikkei: They created all the beings of energy in the world and all the other Angels. Just like children, they played through their emotions, and did not know any wrong or evil. Yet they created protagonists and antagonists, and they took turns playing each. And then some of my angels became demons.
Nikkei: The feminine and masculine were having so much fun with this creation, which they started specializing according to their nature. The feminine created fairies and pixies and all sorts of protective, nurturing spirits, while masculine created a group of Archangels to have fun with. The Archangels are Gabriel, Fanuel, Michael, Uriel, Raphael, Israel, and Uzziel. They are the seven angles that are my court.
Nikkei: The Archangels ruled over their own heavens and together the Archangel’s created the Elemental Plane.
Nikkei: Then the feminine and the masculine joined together and together created the entire universe in a big bang. And then they shaped the worlds, and populated it with all sort of creatures.
Himi: That explains about our existence, but what about the Middle Kingdom? Nikkei: The Middle Kingdom is the place where these creatures were placed. You were once angels, but you were chosen to fall to the Middle Kingdom to protect it. The pendant’s you wear allow you to transform. If one was ever damaged the would be no hope for the world.
Aure: What are the Elemental Planes?
Nikkei: The Elemental Plane was created by the Archangels as a safe haven. It houses a forbidden and dangerous power. The Elemental Planes are forbidden to all. Even to myself.
Himi: Is anyone allowed in there?
Nikkei: Only the chosen one is able to sustain life in there. The Elementals created it for fear that one day they would not be able to defend themselves. It is set up as a place where the most dangerous object rests.
Himi: What is that?
Nikkei: I’m not sure that anybody knows. The object was hidden from me. Only the masculine and feminine knew about it. They were the ones who created the power that rests there. The Archangels were also kept in the dark about what the object looked like exactly.
Himi: Thank you, Lady Nikkei, for telling us about the kingdoms.
Nikkei: It’s my plea…
Himi: Nikkei! What is it?
Nikkei: I must go. There is a demon attacking! Go help the Innocents Rika craves!
Himi bows to Nikkei.
Himi: Fire Soul!
Kana: Water Soul!
Aure: Air Soul!
Keb: Earth Soul!
Gin: Metal Soul!
Himi: Right. Where is the demon, Aure?
Aure: Hold on.
She closes her eyes and rubs over the etched image.
Aure: Gosen release the Light!
Light is released and it turns a dark color.
Aure: That way.
Points toward Tokyo Tower.
At the Tokyo Tower:
Himi: I don’t see…
Suddenly there is an explosion.
Himi: There it is!
Aure: Air’s Disturbance!
The demon starts to choke and weaken.
Himi: Fire’s Wild fire.
The demon begins to drop little bombs that explode near the Soul Warriors.
Kana: Himi, watch out!
Himi: Uh?
Kana dives next to Himi.
Kana: Water’s Wall!
Himi: Thank you Kana.
Keb: Earth’s Streamer!
Gin: Metal’s Streamer!
Kana: Ioelet come forth and destroy this evil being of the Lower Kingdom!
All: Ioelet we invoke you!
The demon disappears in a cloud of light.
