Chapter 2: Keb and Gin
Male: I am the most natural element, Earth. At Shiba Park: Aure: I can’t help but to wonder why Earth and Metal appeared together. Kana: Yeah. The rest of us appeared separately. Himi: Maybe they have a different mission then us. Kana: Even if they did, why were they still using their first attacks? Himi: They joined the Paranormal Club so we can ask them tomorrow. Aure: Right. Also Iuvart left this behind at the embassy. Himi: What is it? Iuvart: It’s called a gosen. It can detect innocents. Get the others and warn them. The demon is heliophobic. Use fire. Aure: I’m not sure. I’m going to find out tonight. Himi: Okay. I have to pick up Tei or he’s gonna be late for work again. Kana: Aure? Is anything wrong? Aure: No. Just a bit preoccupied that’s all. In the Lower World: Rika: So Verrine, what do you have to report? Verrine: Iuvart’s gosen has disappeared; however I have asked that my fire demon, Shuriko (mechanic), make new one. Not only does it detect those who might be fallen angels, such as the Soul Warriors. Rika: What of these two? There is a portal that is recapping when they appeared. Verrine: These two were the other elements that appeared to aid the others. They claimed to be Earth and Metal. Rika: Really? And when were you going to inform me of their appearance. Verrine: When I was going to make my report, my Lord. Rika: Verrine, you fail to realize what is happening. Each time they gain an element they become more powerful! Get me Innocents. Aure’s apartment: Aure: There’s got to be away to work this thing. Iuvart never said how to control it! Voice: Let me show you now. Aure turns around to see Iuvart leaning against a wall. He then leans over her. Badum! Badum! Iuvart: You press this button here. He points to the symbol that bumps out in Rika’s etched image. Iuvart: It’s this button here. Aure: I don’t see how it works, though. Iuvart: It glows when an Innocent is near. Aure: Is there a way for it to also pick up demons? Iuvart: Well I could try. He takes it apart and makes an adjustment. Iuvart: Okay it will glow dark when a demon is near and will glow white when an Innocent is near. Aure: Iuvart. Iuvart: Yes. Aure: I was wishing to night that I could see you again. Iuvart: If you wait a little while longer then we will be together. Aure: I will wait. Iuvart kisses her on the cheek then orbs out of the room. that night: Kana is over at Himi’s. Himi: Hey Kana. Listen to this. She turns up the volume on the t.v. Reporter: Good Evening. This is Shimbun Baiten with the evening news. Lately there has been a rash of unusual attacks near the Tokyo Bay area. These attacks have left six people hospitalized over the time period of three days. The victims were found unconscience, pale and shaking. However no valuables were found missing. In other news a … Kana goes over and turns it off. Kana: What do you think? Himi: Might be another demon. Kana: I hate this. We don’t even know their goal. Himi: I hate it too. I wish we had more information. We don’t even know who is behind all of this. Behind the attacks and the pain these Innocents go through. Kana: We’ll figure it out, together. Himi: Kana. I usually don’t whine like this, but please stay with me tonight. Kana: Himi, you're so strong. Our love blossomed quickly but I know inside this is right. Himi: Kana, you're the only one I ever want. They kiss and they lay down together on her bed. The next day in paranormal club: Himi: As you all know it is only a week until summer vacation. We have some things to wrap up. Tei: Right. I have begun to wrap up all money matters for Student Council and Paranormal Club. Evelyn: We also have two new members, Keb Moswen and Gin Huyana. Himi: Welcome. We really don’t have any thing going on right now because it’s close to exams. Aure: We’ll have to discuss this later. Evelyn: Okay that’s it. We’ll see each other next week for the final meeting. Tei: Hey, Himi. Don’t forget that you promised to cover for Reiko today. Himi: I won’t. Aure: We have to catch up to Keb and Gin. they run and catch up with them. Kana: Gin! Keb! Wait!. Aure: We want to know. To you have the same mission as us? Keb: We do. The only difference is the way we meet. Gin: Hariel asked me to find the other Soul Warriors. He told me to find metal first. Keb: Right. We meet up in my hometown, Koekenaap. Aure: I still don’t understand why you two appeared together. Gin: Nikkei said you were all strong on you’re own and together. Keb: However the enemy is advancing and increasing its frequency of attacks. Kana: That reminds me. Another demon has been attacking those in the Tokyo Bay Area. Gin: I love Tokyo Bay! It’s so gorgeous out there. Himi: The attacks have been at night so it’s possible that it’s heliophobic. Keb: I don’t think so. It has a different style. Kana: How about we go to where the attacks have been this afternoon. Aure: By the way. I got the information on that thing I found at the embassy. Kana: What is it? Aure: It’s called a gosen. It detects Innocents. I’ve also made it so that it can detect demons. Gin: Great! We can use that to find the exact location of the demon. Himi: How does it work? Aure: You press this button here. She presses it and it begins to expand and glow a pale yellow. Aure: See, all of us here are innocent so it glows. Gin: What about when a demon is near? Aure: It will glow a dark color and shrink. Himi: Let’s get down to the bay. At the bay: Aure: Hmm. There is no sign of it anywhere. Himi: Wait a second. Were looking in the wrong spot that’s why. Kana: What do you mean? Himi: It’s a subterranean, so let’s look in those caves over there. Gin: I hate caves. They’re spooky. Keb: Common. Kana: Let’s transform first though. Himi: Fire Soul! Kana: Water Soul! Aure: Air Soul! Keb: Earth Soul! Gin: Metal Soul! Himi: Lets go. Aure: There is something here. Definitely. It’s weak so we’ll have to go father back in to the cave. Himi: Let’s wait until dark and then we can draw it out into the open. Kana: Good plan. Then they just sit around and wait for the sun to go down. After sunset: Keb: Enough waiting. Voice: AHHHHHHHHHHHH! Aure: We’re late! Himi: It must have seen us and went around a different way! They all run to the direction that the heard the noise and see a woman getting her soul sucked out by a handsome looking man. Gin: That’s the demon? Too bad. He’s good looking! Himi: Stay on focus. Fire’s Wildfire! The demon cries out in pain and comes forward to attack them. Kana: Water’s Tsunami! The demon is knocked down. Himi: Magic of Fire that fuels the fires of my soul! Aure: Magic of Air that caresses my face in the night! Kana: Magic of Water that I am born of! Keb: Magic of Earth that stands still beneath my feet! Gin: Magic of Metal that builds strength around me! All: Bind us to this power of truth and passion; Bind us to the service of the Lord and Lady. Let our work be of truth, and of power! The demon disappears and the soul it captured flows back in to the woman. In the Lower Kingdom: Reporter: The attacks in the bay area have stopped. Unfortunaltely those who were in the hospital more that 48 hours have saddly died. The local police are beginning to become suspicious and the police captain commented early this morning that they would find out who is behind these attacks. Rika then turns off his television. (yes he has a television. don't ask me how he gets cable!) Rika: Hmph. The police don’t stand a chance against us. He turns to Verrine. Rika: Well done, Verrine. I have the some Innocents and soon enough I will be more powerful than ever before!
