High Street reflections brought you to me. A dozen photogenic echoes of your singular splendour. Oh so subtle persuasion with a brilliant flash of charm and teeth, camera and fame, lured you to my studio. Where I dazzled with finery, heartfelt assurances and soothing rhetoric. The camera inveigled away your inhibitions exploited your naivety, captured your innocence. Tears were appealing, but not for mainstream, though that look in your eyes received a handsome cheque. Now you assault and berate, beat me with accusations and weapons of hysterics, of conscience and of morals. I need neither dear girl, for now that certain quality has abandoned you, all I need are the negatives. |
