Maurice was our pick to keep here at Esprit from this nice litter of 10 by Zoe and Davis. In July 2000 Maurice had surgery to correct a growth plate injury to his left front leg. A 1" space was added to the ulnar bone below the elbow to compensate for the difference. He was in a cast and was in a crate or on a leash (even in the house) until Christmas time - 6 months of healing! His leg is all healed but, as you can see, the left leg will never be as straight as it once was. And so his show career ended before it ever got started. He is here in Las Vegas waiting for us to bring him the perfect girl! He is a very handsome loveable guy!
