This is a great addition to the Zombies catalogue.

Suede's second album "Dog Star Man" was the group's second album and the last with guitarist Bernard Butler. The album marks an artistic peak in the group's career, although the big commercial breakthrough first came with sequel "Coming Up" from 1996.

The album contains three fine singles, of which especially "We are the Pigs" and the lush ballad "The Wild Ones" have become classics. The album is dominated by grand ballads which in addition to "The Wild Ones" count songs like "Still Life", "The Asphalt World", "Blask or Blue", "2 of Us" and "The Power" - especially the former two are highlights on a generally very complete and consistent album.

The deluxe edition contains besides various demos and live recordings a string of contemporary singles releases which include the catchy "My Dark Star" and the beautiful moving "The Living Dead". Especially the acoustic "The Living Dead" is a personal favorite.
