Sue had secretly worked as a high-class escort girl; when Pete found out, he wrote this song based on the life of a lonely call girl.The version on Golders Green is a Pete Ham solo demo.It’s Pete singing by the piano harmonizing himself. The lyrics are slightly different from the finished Badfinger version.
