|::|Backlash... A night where The XWF shall once again prove to the whole of the world why i is the greatest organization around, just has it has for the past year and a half, supremecy over every other organization is its goal, and that goal has always been suceeded, bar none!
The scene opens up where Chris Benoit it sitting in a chair behind a big table with magazines and other XWF parafanelia around, there are big pictures behind him of none other than Chris Benoit. There is a bunch of noise heard from outside the big doors at the other side of the room when all of a sudden the big doors open, Chris lets a disgusted and upset look until he puts on a big smile and all the people come running in from the door, and it turns out to be nothing but a huge mob of little kids. They all look sick or something and they all run in and try to get seats to the closest to the table as they can get, after about 10 minutes of the kids being loud and rambunctious someone gets up to the front in front of the table and stands in front of the mic and starts to talk.
Announcer: Quiet kids... calm down... today we have a special guest with us, none other than XWF Superstar... The Crippler... Chris Benoit!
The kids all start clapping as the person steps down and Chris gets up from his seat behind the table and goes over to the mic, he starts to talk once everyone quiets down.
Chris Benoit: Okay, I have been asked to come here today to talk to all you sick kids about my life as an XWF Superstar, now I know what you are all thinking, it must be a great life I live, all glamerous an all, but it takes a lot of hard work for me to get where I am today, it takes a lot of mental and physical strength, but thats not all, it took a lot of patience to get to where I am today, its not like I woke up one morning and found myself in an XWF ring the next night, it took years of hard work, going through many small organizations like ECW, WCW and even WWF, but one day when I was sitting at home relaxing I finally got the call from The XWF telling me that they were interested in hiring someone like me and gave me a chance to make it, and when I got that chance, I seized the opportunity and did what I knew I could and made it big with The XWF. And when that happened I knew that I had hit the big times and that I would soon be bigger than I had ever been before, and before I knew it that was true, I was wrestling at my very first XWF match, which was a four corners match, and this match had one of my biggest enemies in The XWF, and that is the man who I have love hate relationship with and have the most respect for out of anyone in The XWF, and that is none other than Raven, also in that match was Rhyno and Vampiro, and I knew that to prove myself to the higher ups that I would have to win this match, and that is exactly what I did, I went out there and kicked some butt and have been doing that since day one of joining of The XWF never looking back. Now Im sure that you all have some questions that you would like to ask so I will stop talking and let you ask your questions.
Chris steps down and goes back to his table where there is a microphone waiting for him to answer his questions as 5 little kids get up and walk over to the question mic to ask him some questions.
Sick Kid #1: Hi Mr. Benwaaaaa, was just wondering if you always wanted to be a wrestler like you are today.
Chris Benoit: Well to be honest with you I did but I didnt, I knew I wanted to be a wrestler but there was a point when I was younger when I thought I didnt have the skill that it took to get to be a big superstar, or the determination, when you get turned down from organization after organization, it gets kind of hurtful after awhile, there was a time in my life when I just gave up on wrestling and sat around wasting away doing nothing, because I knew there was nothing else I wanted to do, so if I couldnt wrestle, I wouldnt do anything at all. However after a few weeks of that I realized how much fo a stupid choice it was and decided to keep trying and keep plugging away until I finally became a wrestler, it took many years and many trips around the world just to get my name to be a household name. The amount of beatings that I took getting to where I am today was uncountable, when I was just breaking in like that I thought about giving up because I was going no where once again, but then I realized that everyone has to pay their dues, so once again I started to give it my all and do what I had to do, not caring who I hurt or what it was I had to do, I would do it. And sure enough, as you can all tell, having that attitude is what got me to The XWF and its what has got me to stay and be so big in the time I have been there. Next question?
Sick Kid #2: He-He-Hello. I was just thinking about what you said and I was wondering if you werent a wrestler, knowing everything you know now, what other profession would you choose?
Chris Benoit: That has to be one of the biggest questions I get asked, every interview someone asks me that, and in reality, its a question I cant answer. You see, if I was to give you an answer it would not really matter because wrestling is the only thing I want to do, if I couldnt wrestle I would sit at home, wither to nothingness and die. However if I had to make an answer to this question I guess I would still have something to do with the sport, be it backstage, a reffere, announcer, anything. Knowing what I know now it makes it even more important to me to have to be around this business, and its probably the same feeling that every one of The XWF Superstars have towards the business, I mean when you do something for so long and get so close to it and accomplish so much, there isnt really anything out there thanb any of us would want to do. Its not just a sport to us, its way of life, a way of life that we just can not live without. Next question...?
Sick Kid #3: Ya, thats me, hi. I just wanted to know hwo much longer you plan on being in the business, if you know when you are going to retire or if you are going to stay around and be like Hulk Hogan or Ric Flair and stay after your time is done.
Chris Benoit: Well to answer that all I have to say is I dont know exactly when I am going to be leaving the great sport of wrestling, however no, I do not plan on staying around and staying past my time. I will know myself when it is time for me to retire, and that time will be when I am stuck riding around in a wheelchair or walking with a cane. Unlike Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair I actually know hwo to wrestle, and unlike them I have some respect for the great business, those two do nothing but fight and try to make it look like they wrestle, they have nothing on The Best Damn Technicaal Wrestler in the world, and they never will. Granted, the fans might go crazy over them, but those two were just inthe right places at the right time and marketed like machines. I have earned every fan I have, I did what I had to do get every single fan I have, I didnt just sit back and let it all happen. I worked my ass off, the way it should be done, the proper way!
The announcer cuts in and grabs the mic.
Announcer: Well kids, lets give Mr. Benoit a big hand, he has to take a ten minute break now, but just sit tight and he will sign autographs when he comes back out.
The kids go crazy and Chris gets up and walks behind the backdrop where Shane McMahon and Mikey Whipwreck are standing. Shane starts to go to talk but Chris cuts him off.
Chris Benoit: Okay Shane, before you go and say anything, you better explain to me just why the hell you have got me sitting around, talking to a bunch of dying kids, its fricken ridiculou sthe stuff they are asking me, it smalls like piss out there and the kids are sitting there picking their damn noses not even paying attention to me, and I know for a fact that those kids didnt come up with those questions on their own, so you better explain yourself now.
Shane McMahon: Whoa Chris, calm down a couple notches. Its all so simple and you are overlooking the easiest part of this. Its all for publicity, you think I would put you out there with a bunch of snivelling brats for no reason? So just sit back, act like you can handle this and answer their questions, and dont worry, they wont ask you anything you cant answer, I wrote the questions myself and gave them to the kids so nothing can go wrong.
Chris Benoit: So basicly this whole thing is a pile of shit? YOu wrote the questions for them, why didnt you tell me in the first place? And hell, why couldnt you have found someone else to do this, shit you could have put Mikey out there instead of me. I got more important things to do than sit around and do this, you do know The UK Massacre Tournament is starting on Raw this week, so I think that is a little bit more important then keeping a bunch of half dead kids alive for a few minutes.
Shane McMahon: Chris, Chris... Calm down man, like I saidm its all taken care of, I dont even know why you are worrying about your match on Raw anyways, you only have to face Sting, you know for a fact you can beat the living hell out of him with the greatest of ease, after all, you are the best damn technical wrestler in the XWF, hell the whole world, its no challange for you, just think of doing this as the big challange of your match, and you get publicty to make it look like you care in the meantime, its a win win situation.
Chris Benoit: Publicity??? Who the hell needs publicity, I sure as hell know I dont, I let my actions speak for me, cause you do know the old saying, actions do speak louder than words, and trust me, my actions speak louder than anyone elses around in The XWF. So why would I even bother trying to get popular? I dont give a damn if everyone likes me more if I look like I care, if thats the case then let the people hate me for it. For all I care all these kids out there can drop dead right now, just like Sting will on Monday.
Shane McMahon: Yes! Thats the kind of attitude you need towards you opponents, you are finally starting to get it, but what you are still missing is the fact that you need to make it look like you care also. The suits at The XWF love it when you look like you care, trust me on this, if anyone would know something like this its me. I dont know why you are doubting me so much, I have done so much for you in the short time Ive been with you, more than anyone in The XWF has done for you the whole time you have been here, so why you dont trust me is still beyond me.
Chris Benoit: Trust? Why should I? You have done nothing to prove to me that I can trust you, sure you have helped me a little bit, but have you saved my ass from a beating yet? Have you done anything to help me other than give me matches? No! No you have not, so before you go and talk about me trusting you, you had better have some damn merit to what you say then just giving me a couple of matches, which I might add you werent even at ringside for to help me. So how does that bring upon trust? It doesnt!
Shane McMahon: Exactly, which is something that I am trying to teach you, after Raw, believe me, after you beat the hell out of Sting and show the world that you are the real deal and that you are going all the way in this tournament, you will learn to trust me. Because all that I have to say today shall come true. You will beat Sting, The XWF suits will love you, these kids love you, nothing can go wrong.
Chris Benoit: Oh believe me Shane, I have no doubts of losing to Sting, I know for a fact that match is allready wound up and my hand shall be raised in victory. But do you really think I give a damn about the XWF suits of some sick little kids? If I did I would have showed it when I first came into The XWF over a year ago. Instead I have been this way my whole time there for a reason. And that reason being I want to, I have got by being this way the whole time, and I dont see anything changing that.
Shane McMahon: Really? Well if you do take a look at your last few matches, have they not been matches that you would have gotten without me around your side? I didnt think so, so you had better be damn thankful, The XWF was not even going to put you in the damn tournament, and if it wasnt for me you wouldnt be in it, so you had better be damn thankful for all I have done for you.
