Have you ever wondered what causes something to happen, how something happens, or how something works?
These questions are the basis for creating science fair projects.
Look in your science textbook under a topic that interests you or go to one of the following websites for ideas, and come up with an interesting question.
Make sure that it is an experimentation project (controls and variables to change results) and not a demonstration (how something works).
Write down at least 3 questions and show them to your teacher.

You and your teacher will decide together which question you will use.
Make an entry in your science project journal telling exactly how you chose your question.
Show your questions and your journal to your teacher.
Move on to the next step.
