- Have you ever wondered what causes something to happen, how something
happens, or how something works?
- These questions are the basis for creating science fair projects.
- Look in your science textbook under a topic that interests you or go to
one of the following websites for ideas, and come up with an interesting
question.
- Make sure that it is an experimentation project (controls and variables
to change results) and not a demonstration (how something works).
- Write down at least 3 questions and show them to your teacher.
- See the sample question frames below.
- You and your teacher will decide together which question you will use.
- Make an entry in your science project journal telling exactly how you
chose your question.
- Show your questions and your journal to your teacher.
- Move on to the next step.
