World War II Surrender Documents

WWII Surrender Documents
Historical Background

In the beginning there were two.  The German document was completed on the 7th day of May, 1945, at Reims, France.  The Japanese surrender document was signed and accepted on board the U.S. Battleship Missouri at Tokyo Bay, Japan, on the 2nd day of September, 1945.

When those documents were signed, permission was given for any Allied or Axis country wanting to prepare versions of the documents in their own text and language, translating from the original English forms, providing that their document preserved the intended meaning of the document.

Now there are Six.  Our complete and accurate World War II Surrender Documents are the genuine texts from the authenticated originals.  The German and Japan  originals are in English , and there are translations from China, Japan, Germany and Russia, all of which are complete in their languages.  See our Order Form for options.

There are still a few million U.S. WWII veterans who remain alive as we begin the 21st century, and there are about 30 million of their children and relatives.  You won't find a single one who isn't proud of what was accomplished in that conflict.  Order your copies, and then order a few more for others you know who will appreciate having these most important U.S. documents to proudly display.
