Questions about The Wireless Institute of Australia that every Australian Radio Operators and Echolink sysop,user needs to ask!.

I would have hoped that stepping into the new millenium and these new forms of Amateur Radio Operators systems would have be one of honesty and fortitude in that what would replace the old with the new would have been a good step for all.
How ever I cant see this being the case at all as what is to follow surely cannot even be seen or shown to be as a true representation of all Australian Amateur Radio Operators in this country in what is been taking place by The Wireless Institute of Australia what can only be seen as discrimination and abuse.
In that their continued down siding that has taken place here in Australia over the recent years concerning the VOIP systems such as firstly " iLink and then Echolink system still continues to this very day in what being done by the Wireless Institute of Australia and can not be viewed as blind prejudice.
I would point out that you will not see anthing on their web site concerning Echolink here in Australia or the fact that they are using Echolink which is odd since there are indeed a few such EchoIRLP links that are around in Australia which in them selfs have not been posted on the Echolink system as being EchoIRLP links.
These facts of none postings do not say much for The Wireless Institute of Australia nor do they say very much about any Australian Amateur Radio Operators that has done or is doing their part for Amateur Radio here in Australia let alone this one has to wonder as to any members of The Wireless Institute of Australia agreeing to this form of discrimination and abuse which is not anhopfully not a normal Australian thing to have done in that Australia having a democracy but we should not forget the battel cry of Wireless Institute of Australia with such a systems in that it said it dose not use the internet this was being carried out by the Wireless Institute of Australia for just recent times.
Let alone the abuse and discrimination that is being done by the Wireless Institute of Australia to normal Australian Amateur Radio Operators that have been supporting Amateur Radio by having put systems on line for many years and have done so against many obstacles along with the lack of any support from the Wireless Institute of Australia so that all Australian Amateur Radio Operators could use and enjoy.
The fact that the Wireless Institute of Australia does not recognise these facts is indeed a poor show on their part but to support and use the IRLP systems in this country as they have stated this right on their web site and yet they use EchoIRLP nodes this is just out right two faced of them.
I find this very odd in that there has been nothing at all posted about these facts as most Australian Amateur Radio Operators dont know this so perhaps most should look closer.
Also what is odd to is the fact that these IRLP nodes them self proclaimed to be men of RF that dont use the internet as this was their battle cry not so long ago which is not correct along with they are now not so much IRLP nodes but rather Echo/IRLP nodes which also do not list themself on the Echolink system as EchoIRLP nodes in most cases.
The fact that these IRLP nodes on most occasions state that they are Echolink nodes on the Echolink system is incorrect as most dont have not post their true nature or stated the truth about what they realy are in that they are non genuine Echolink nodes.
This can be seen very clearly here in what has taken place in the Northern Territory in that non genuine Echolink links and repeaters have been setup for some time now under this same disguise as far away as Alice spring along with just recently as October 2004 last year here in Darwin where an other EchoIRLP system has been setup after a long absence of the original IRLP node.
How ever what is even more extraordinary here in Darwin at lest is that there have been interjectors on that system that have have shown that they known nothing about these system let alone what took place up here over some years regards some other systems in Darwin and some what still continues to this day but these persons have gone on to make statements which are no better than them having lied as if one follows through on there dates along with some of there validation dates one can see very clearly there dates are out of step with what has been said by them todate.
Also we have some that stated as to their having been active through all this time and yet the true is that most had done not much of anything let alone any of them having done a VOIP system or most of data modes its only been in the last part of last year 2004 that any thing was done at all by them along with this is even hearing a new comer to Darwin from VK4 interject and swearing on one of the local repeaters.
It is bad enough that the Wireless Institute of Australia has given over to the Austalian section of the IRLP system most of its repeaters which seems to have monopolised all the repeater systems through Australia in some form in controlling them and piping out Wireless Institute of Australia broadcast on these repeaters via IRLP ,EchoIRLP nodes here in australia which most of the controlled and licence fees are paid for by the Wireless Institute of Australia along with your form of discrimination and abuse that makes you no better than nazies.
Isn't it nice also to see how this monopolization is taking place here in Australia by The Wireless Institute of Australia one does wonder how they get around this monopolization under the ACA regulations concerning this or even how could fair play even be seen to be at work here!.

The down side of Acceptance and implementation of New Technology in VK5/VK8 Division 2001.
All of the above has not been an easy one to do at least here in Darwin Australia in having to over come a lot of down siding that did take place here between 1998 to 2003 due to some having distributed such a lot of misinformation up here concerning first the Winlink 2.9 system and then the " VOIP " known as iLink & Echolink here in Darwin Northern Territory by such persons in or affiliated with a local Darwin ARC along with having The Wireless Institute of Australia VK5/VK8 Division and QNews having been doing the same thing throughout concerning Winlink and iLink & Echolink VOIP perhaps more due to having had their noses put out of joint as it was a Novice having taken on these challenges first.
There was written warnings issued in the Darwin court pending legal action given out to individuals here in Darwin along with service done on The Wireless Institute of Australia VK5/VK8 Division for such disgraceful behavior.
How odd it has been over the years that such an Institution such as The Wireless Institute of Australia VK5/VK8 Division would not have embraced the use of such Technology along with not having corrected the interfering that was done to my person along with my station its systems done in your name as well as by your affiliated club VK8DA that had been going on along with having you's having been informed in writing I would have to ask why such a Institution would have stooped so low to bully boy tactics .....I would not have thought that a novice could have frightened so many so deeply.
These facts are on this web site so as to help to draw attention to the frowning that was/has/is been going on in Darwin covering the many years even before I came to Darwin.
So it is hoped that at least I do hope to have helped to at least take away some of this stress from our future pioneers into this great hobby as well as some of the power away from these persons that have been doing the frowning upon others up here in along with having tried to make the difference for anyone making the effort in taking on something new without the additional stress and harassment being levelled against them personaly or their station for having done something many could not.
So who knows, maybe this will help someone out before they get caught up in the folly of some of the local lids in Darwin ...it takes time but one does catch liars out eventually.
Please consider these point before joining such a club that is affiliated with The Wireless Institute of Australia VK5/VK8 Division is this what you want as it could just as easily be you in the firing line if you don't pull the party line and if thats what belonging to means then perhaps go it alone as it could be your turn next ..... Promoting Amateur Radio in a Positive and open Manner rather than behind closed doors.

This along with also at the same time that these IRLP or more over EchoIRLP systems do cutting across true " Echolink nodes " yet there is not one word of these facts about Australian Echolinks on their web site.
But more over the true case is that they are EchoIRLP nodes on the Echolink system so why has the Wireless Institute of Australia & the Austalian section of the IRLP system being two faced about these facts!.
I find such statements having been done by these person very odd indeed let alone there manners in having coming from Australian Amateur Radio Operators which is more than extraordinary since many only having either becoming active in 2004 themself or were not here at all throughout.
These facts along with their own dates as well as validation on systems do not coincide with their own statements of claims todate so perhaps some honesty here would be a far better way to go.
How ever it was The Australian Communications Authority that took to task these two main body's for having broadcasted such misinformation and having gone against their rulings of law concerning these matters along with have told them to pull into line their conformity as regards to their broadcast along with their affiliated Divisions of which all still have ever apologized to the Amateur Radio Community for having distributed such misleading information even to this day in 2004.
