INTERVIEW

Back

Mysterious, hardly smiles and his family not even exist

" I'm an only child. Right now I live with grandma, Joanne Renfro, in Knoxville. My parents are divorced and my mother got married again. Now she lives in Michigan. Dad's still in Knoxville. I still like often to see him. But I rarely see my mom.

Living with grandma? How does it feel?

"It seems that she treats me as her own-child. Not being spoilt too much. But I know she loves me very much. She likes to accompany me while I'm making movie."

" In the location, many people are watching. And I like to ask m fans how my acting was. Well, most of them say that I'm good. But the truth is I want to hear the true answer."

Maybe your acting is good. By the way, most of your fans are girls. What type of girl do you like?

" I like a natural girl. I don't like a girl who likes to act and wear too much make up. I often meet girls that I think have weird attitudes when talking to me. I like ordinary girls."

The cool ones?

"Not really. If she really is talkative and active I would like her but only if that's her true character. I could tell when a girl is just acting."

But why do you always change your hair color?

" Oh, I did it on purpose so I'll look different in different movies. When I finished making movie, I always clean my hair. My real hair color is light brown. Just think of it as a part of my acting. Like in Sleepers, I had to wear a blue contact lens since I played as a young Brad Pitt. Brad Pitt's eyes are blue not brown like mine."

"I also like lots of kind music's I like hard rock/ heavy metal and alternative music the most. Uh…I just love Led Zeppelin. Robert Plant is really cool."

" I can play guitar and write songs. I've perform ones in a club in Huntsville, the location of the making of Tom and Huck."

Brad, Brad even if you are a mysterious guy, you are not shy! So what is your goal?

" To be a good director like Joel Schumacher. I want to go to entertainment school, so I can be like him. My plan is when I'm 16 years old, I'll graduate from high school and continued to UCLA for a movie program and than be a good director!"
