About Friends of the Mill Fields

Friends of the Mill Fields is a group of Stony Stratford residents. The group's aims is to ensure that the flood plain of the River Ouse as it flows through Stony Straford is not used for housing development. More specifically we aim to protect the Mill and the Willows area. This area has special significance for the town.

The main reasons for our objection to building on this land are:

The risk of flooding

The doubling of traffic in an already congested area.

The loss of a rich natural environment for wildlife.

The loss of amenity for residents of Stony Stratford and Milton Keynes
