The
Killer
Bunny
Language

You too can learn to speak Killer Bunny Language!

Although killer bunny is mostly a sign language, it also contains a few spoken words used for emphasis. This verbal part of the language has evolved and expanded. Two killer bunnies can now communicate even when they can't see each other, just as long as they don't use nouns other than food. It is important to realise the significance of the visual part of the language. That part, however, has no set rules and stems entirely from the speaker's imagination.
Students wishing to visit planet X and talk to real killer bunnies should seriously consider taking a mime course beforehand.

Lesson 1:
The yorbel: Killer bunnies do not talk, they yorbel. This means that they make a sound while inhaling, not when exhaling. Practise your yorbel before you go onto the next section. The human gasp is very similiar to a yorbel. Just try to scream backwards.

Lesson 2:
Greeting: oog- hi, oog- bye

Lesson 3:
Food: yerawl- eat, yerawl-oo- food, yerawl-awl-, I'm hungry (lit: I would eat); awl is repeated for emphasis.

Lesson 4:
Sleep: ee-org- sleep.

Lesson 5:
Locomotion: gorr- go, yor- walk, yorgorg- run, yor-golg- lie down.

Lesson 6:
Place: earg- here, erg-oo-erg- not here (can mean "there" if used in conjunction with pointing in appropriate direction)

Lesson 7:
Time: geor- now, georereg- in the future, garg- in the past.

Lesson 8:
Possession: rowl- have, eer- want.

Lesson 9:
Differentiation between subjects: grurr- I, grier- you, roo- that person/thing (point to person or thing).

Lesson 10:
Quantity: woo- lots, wee- less, waa- nothing.

Lesson 11:
Negative/positive: rek- negative, mek- positive.

Lesson 12:
Compliments: ookey- universal compliment.

Lesson 13:
Insults: growlroo- mild insult (relating to subject's intelligence), ereroo- strong insult (relating to subject's body odour), groob- bad-tasting or bad-smelling (food and other objects).

Lesson 14:
Expressions: ier-ier-ier...- general well-being, eeeeeeeee- pain (high frequency), ooee- love/appreciation, rowr- anger (loud), rrrr- disapproval/pre-anger/warning,

Lesson 15:
Sentence construction: Just link some words together. Verbal killer bunny has no grammatical structure to speak of. Example:
This is my food. I will eat my food. You will not eat my food. You are a (insult of choice).
Translation: Roo (point at food) grurr yerawl-oo. Grurr georereg yerawl grurr yerawl-oo. Grier rek georereg grurr yerawl-oo. Grier growlroo.
Easy, isn't it?

Congratulations. You can now speak killer bunny. Can you sing it?
