There is no doubt that Prague is over run by tourists
during the summer, but fortunately, it doesn't matter
too much. I loved just wandering around, theres literally
something around every corner. The ever increasing
billboards and more and more western instituions such as
McDonalds may well take over Prague soon, but for now it
remains a gem.

Place to Stay
I stayed at the Vesta youth hostel, which I booked through STA travel
and cost £7 for a dorm bed. Its very central, 5 minute walk from Wenceslas
Square and right next to Prague's main train station, Hvlani Ndrazi. This
is obviously very useful if you're arriving or departing (as I was) by
train. The place itself is very basic, but clean, and not that noisy
considering its proximity to the train station.

Eating
An interesting restaurant is Klub Architektu, which is near the
Bethlehem Chapel (Betlemske Namesti). I ate there twice and enjoyed two
courses and drinks for under £5.
