AWARDS THIS SITE HAS WON

When I started this site in April 1999, I didn't know anything about html or making webpages -- and I still know very little. Most of what I see on other webpages I don't have a clue about doing for myself. My purpose in making a website was to share some of the research and experiences I've accumulated over the years. I was, therefore, very surprised that anyone would consider my site worthy of an award, especially since most awards seem to be given for webpage design instead of content. It's good to know that some denizens of the Web think that what one does is worthy of some form of recognition. I know that some awards are more easily won than others and that some webmasters collect awards like bottlecaps (I guess that kinda dates me, eh?), but to me every one is a real treasure.
