Hi folks! I've recently moved my 'homestead', you might call it. I did have this home page on Geocities, and then Yahoo! (read BooHoo!) announced that it now owned unlimited ability to sublicense, reprint, and re-distribute for its own purposes any content I had there. So, I packed up and left, and now I'm here at AngelFire. My page isn't spectacular, but its home, and I hope you like it.

So whats with this Doctor Hook business, anyway?

  Well, it all started when I finally learned how to crochet (yes, that thing you do with the hook and the yarn). Back in the day, when I was in junior high school, my favorite teacher always used to call me Doctor Hoffman. So, when I had to pick an alias for a username on one of the free e-mail places, I chose Dr. Hook, since I was creating the alias for the sole purpose of reading messages on the Crochet Musings' Crochet List.
