How the technology works
By-passed air from the supply (hot) plenum passes through a fragrance cartridge, is deposited into the return (cold) plenum, and rejuvenated as it passes over the heat exchanger. Your furnace fan propels the fragrance throughout your home via the existing duct work system. A baffle regulates the air flow to allow you to manually adjust for air conditioning, as well as for larger or smaller homes. Kit comes complete with all hoses etc. required for do-it-yourself installation. No electrical or water connections are required.

Furnaces tend to heat, cool, humidify and purify the air for your comfort. However, often this clean and conditioned air may not smell particularly inviting. The InScents Central Air Freshener is specifically designed to provide your home environment with pleasant, fragranced air, all year long.

How to control the amount of scent in your home.
The baffle, located where the supply air hose meets the fragrance chamber, regulates the amount of air that passes through the scent cartridge. By increasing or decreasing this air flow, you control the amount of fragrance in your home. Larger homes will naturally require a larger amount of scent, thus using up the fragrance more quickly. The warm air of your furnace will evaporate the scent more readily than the cool air of your air conditioner, and thus will require a smaller amount of air flow to scent your home completely.
