July / Aug / Sept 2001

Dear Pastor and praying friends,

Greetings in the Name that is above every name from Nong Kai, Thailand, gateway to Laos.

RADIO MINISTRY:

Continue to be in much prayer for our radio ministry into the closed field of Communist Laos and this area of Thailand. We had to discontinue our broadcasts at the end of April, but I am planning of returning to America soon to raise support for this important ministry.  When we were on the air many Thai people told us that they listened, and we receive mail from Laos saying many listened.  We know of 10 souls who were saved as a result of the program (we baptized 3 of them), but we are sure that there are others who received Christ that we do not know about. We estimate that we have a potential listening audience of at least 4,000,000!  Please pray with us that we be able to resume the broadcasts in the first half of 2002!!!  Brothers Sombaht and Soontorn continue to make tapes for Missionary Dennis Catlin's weekly radio program in the Provincial capitol of Chaiyaphum.
