NFL Salute to the military www.nfl.com/postcards On August 11th, 2002, a six man NFL Film crew traveled to Afghanistan with 64 cases of camera equipment. For the next 10 days, the crew traveled throughout the country shooting 168 rolls of motion picture films and 7,427 still photographs. This material is represented in their American Postcards series which will run throughout the 2002 season.
