Sometime in 2002 Team Disney was not a team yet but a magical moment in the making.

Team Disney was originally a spades team that went by the name of Magical Kingdom in a league called Campfire Spaders. Magical Kingdom was then renamed Team Disney and was amidst a power struggle. The captainage was taken, in an effort to save the team, by a new cappy.... Beauty. After about six months the majority of the members left to play on a team ran by a league admin. At this time Beauty's health was not well so she decided to put Team Disney on hold until her health was restored to a stable state.

Beauty went to another Campfire team named Flash where a fellow team member introduced her to a new league named Honest Outgoing Teams (HOT). Beauty joined the Flash team on HOT, and met a great friend. That great friend would later be known as TD_Bambi.

Because of changes in the Flash team, Beauty and Bambi joined forces to create something Magical and Wonderful. On March 16, 2003 they resurrected Team Disney.

On May 24, 2004 Beauty had decided it was time to go from HOT and join in a new league to start fresh and she submitted the team to Laid Back Spaders (LBS) which was trying to change from a regular league to one with an alternate format. Although many teams embraced the idea, the majority of the league held fast against change. Team Disney teamies wanted to find someplace to call home.

On June 6, 2004 Team Disney joined Knights of The Empire Gaming Club, to give our team mates the ability to play other games besides Spades.

On June 10, 2004 Team Disney created TD_GammonLand, a Backgammon League for Team Disney and KOE TeamMates.

On June 27, 2004 we moved to our new spades home, Honest Spade Players (HSP). Now the team is filled with kindness and compassion. TD__Beauty_ continues to serve as captain. TD_Bambi, TD__Pooh3, and TD_Madam_Mim are our strong and dedicated Co-Captains.
