Prospective members must take part in the 3 week work exchange program. At the end of this visit, the visitor must leave the community and may then apply for trial membership. We will then promptly discuss the application and notify the applicant of our decision.
If the applicant is accepted, he/she may return and become a trial member. This period of trial membership will last for one year, during which trial members must live at a garden and may not invest in the community.
After one year of trial membership, the trial member must again leave a garden and may apply for full membership. We will then promptly discuss the application and notify the applicant of our decision.
Successful applicants invest in a garden by becoming a share holder in the collective. Construction of a house may begin at this time.
