A score of 200 or more on the "Needed Skills and Experience Evaluation" is required to be eligable for the 21 Day Work Exchange Program.
If you are considering becoming a member of a garden, you must first do the 21 day work exchange program. This gives us a chance to get to know each other under the conditions by which we will be living. It is not a requirement that participants in this program have the intention of applying for membership at the end of the program. We will be happy to receive help from experienced and skilled people, even if it is only temporary.
The basic idea of the program is that you will be living as a commune member lives. We work regular hours (8/day), 6 days/week. We work overtime a lot but do not request that our visitors work overtime. We consider that to be our "spare time".
The cost of the program is US$2.50 per day. Participants are provided with basic, dry shelter and meals.
