Pokemon: The First Movie
Mewtwo Strikes Back Summary

NOTE: This summary may differ becuase it the summary is based on the Japanese version of the movie. So that means that a few parts may be there that were cut out in the American version. If anything differs, you don't have to tell me about it.

A genetic experiment awakes, and all is lost. This is the begging and continuing fate of Mewtwo, who, after being born from a genetic experimentation tube, loses all touch with his new found reality, only to completely destroy and kill and and all that had any information about him.

After devastating Cinnibar Island, Mewtwo is joined up by Giovanni, who manipulates Mewtwo with his own twisted visions. Giovanni's true intentions soon show, and Mewtwo takes his revenge as a repeat performance of Cinnibar Island. Lost, and confused about what and who he is, he declares revenge on all humans. Time passes, and we soon find our favorite trio relaxing around a grassy area, Togepi and Picachu play, and soon Ash is challenged by a real idiodic trainer....After dispensing of a Pinsir,Venemoth,Golem,Donfan, and a Machamp. Ash and co. sit to eat. Unbenounced to them, a fearow with camera, circles them, and transmits pictures to a rather ominous looking island. Responding quickly, a notice is sent (via Dragonite) to Ash, inviting him to accept the invitation of the strongest pokemon trainer in the world.

They accept, only to have Team Rocket become curious, and follow them. After some manipulated weather by Mewtwo, most of the trainers invited are stopped by Jenny at the seaport gate.A few random trainers break through, and use there pokemon to cross the see, ( Most were better trainers than Ash, It was cool to see a controled Gyrados) Only 5 trainers make it through, and with the help of an anxious and curiosu Team rocket, Ash, and co. make it to New Island. At New Island, are the collected trainers and there assortment of power hitters, (most notable: Wigglytuff, Venusaur, Blastoise, Ash's Charizard, Gyrados, and a huge Dewgong.)

Mewtwo meanacingly makes his appearance as the strongest trainer and pokemon ever. The trainers are outraged, and start to attack Mewtwo in vain. Finnaly, the trainers challenge him directly, and bring out the three basic heavy hitters.

Meanwhile, a bewildered Team Rocket wanders the depths of the castle and stumble up on a genetic recombination machine, and learn of Mewtwo through video records. Untold to Team Rocket, there are being watched by a most curious and fun loving Mew, who follows them eagerly but, teleports everytime they turn to see him.

The trainers now have sent out there greatest pokemon, a Venusaur named Banard, a Blastoise named Kusu Kusu, and Ash reveales his Lizardon which he had kept secret till now. Mewtwo accepts, and opens a battle arena, eager to fight. The Genetics machine below fires up, and literally spits out a Venusaur, Blastoise and Charizard, which Team Rocket freaks out about, Mew finnally reveals himself to Team rocket by flying past them and following the copies as the walk down the hallway.

Mewtwo's creations rise up from elevators in the floor, and each is an exact replacant of the correct forms, but each has odd markings, and stripes of darkened skin around them. The battles are dispatched quickly, as all three originals are outdone by their copies, and then captured in Mewtwo's patented Master Balls.

The trainers are dumbfounded as balls swarm out of nowhere to swallow up their pokemon, Ash calls back his pokemon, only to have the Master balls, capture his own Pokeballs! Picachu is the last to be caught, and Ash fights bravely to save him, and is sucked down a large tube to the recombanation machine conveyer belt begins....(Mewtwo plans to make copies of the trainers pokemon)

Team Rocket, is already at the Genetics machine, and is playing a game of "Who's that pokemon?" as each pokball is fed into the machine, and a large 3d representation appears. Ash, arrives down below, and jams the machine with his own body. The machine explodes, just as the copies are leaving the machine, and Mewtwo's pokeballs fly everywhere, releasing the originals, just as the copies leave. Above, Mewtwo waits patiently for his new pokemon, only to have his back wall explode, as copies, and original pokemon flood out, with Ash in the lead. Ash and Mewtwo stand, with Pokemon behind each of them, in a climatic battle, Ash, swears that he will always protect his friends, and his pokemon, (as he moronically charges Mewtwo head on.)

Mewtwo quickly disposes of him, and throws him high into the sky, where a bubble appears from nowhere, and saves him........Mew introduces himself to Ash, with a chatter of "Mew,mew, mew, mew?" and gently sets him down. Mew and Mewtwo exchange glances, and that is all Mewtwo needs to start a fight... only to have his own power come back and hit him in the face. Mew explains that the origionals are stronger than the copies, if no energy attacks are used during the battle. Mewtwo is enraged, and copies and origionals charge eachother in bloodlust. Mew and Mewtwo raise there barriers, and start ramming eachother, in hopes of pure descimation.(All played to that song they only play when the there's a huge battle, or there being chased, like with the Giant mechanical pokemon chasing them in that episode.)

All pokemon faint except for Mew and Mewtwo who are now making craters in the massive stadium, both pokemon lower their barriers and start charging, for a most obvious final blow to the Island, let alone themselves, Ash gets up, and runs into the center of the ring as both shots are fired, A climactic surge of energy pulses through Ash, as he turns to stone and falls to the ground with a thud. Silence embraces the arena, as all pokemon are devastated, (Mewtwo is shocked a human sacrificed himself to stop a battle) and all pokemon, stare in awe as Pikachu desperatly tries to shock Ash awake. Nobody moves, and all are silent.

Tears fill in all pokemon eyes, and tears float to the center of the ring, and enter Ash as his body starts to glow. But suddenly it stops, and Mewtwo sheds one tear, and Ash wakes up. Mewtwo talks to Mew, and doesnt want anyone to ever know about this, and Mew agrees. Copies, begin to glow, and float to the sky, a flash of light, and all are back at the seaport, with no memory of the event.

Brock makes a perverted comment, (and now you might wonder, what happened to Team Rocket?) It flashes to the new New island, only to see Team Rocket sitting on a grass field, and the only ones remembering what has happened.
