Season Two

Here's a little sneak peak on season two!

Digimon 02 is going to take place three years after the original 8 digidestined got home after the first series. All of the old digidestined look a lot different than they did in series 1. Tai still plays soccer, Sora now likes gardening (who would've thought?) and Matt plays guitar in a band. they are 14 years old. Joe, still studying for finals, is 16. Izzy still hangs out at the elementary school with his computer buddies, and Mimi who now lives in America, on the east coast, are both 13. Those 6 are still in digimon02, but they aren't seen much and don't play a big role in this series. The main characters now are T.K. and Kari, who are both 11 years old.. They are joined by three new digidestined children; Miyako Inoue; 13 years old, Iori Hida; 9 years old, and Daisuke Motomiya; 12 years of age. Each of these three new kids have their own Digimon. Miyako has Hawkmon, Iori has Armadimon, and Daisuke has Buimon. Daisuke has an older sister, Jun Motomiya, and he lives with her and his parents. Miyako lives with her two older sisters, one older brother, and parents. Iori lives with his mother, and his grandfather, he has no siblings.


In Digimon02 the secret of digivolving has been locked away by The Digimon Kaizer, and armor is needed to digivolve.
When Agumon first battled the Kaizer, he was unable to digivolve past his rookie form. One new trait that the digimon have in the second season is that they can digivolve two different ways, depending on which armor is used. The armor takes the place of the Crests in the second season, and are called Digimentals. The Digimentals are kept safe inside of multi-colored, weirdly shaped digieggs, (Tag is to Digiegg as Crest is to Digimental) and have the same traits as the Crests. Patamon and Gatomon each have a new digivolution. Patamon can now digivolve into either Angemon, or Pegasmon, and Gatomon can digivolve into either Angewomon, or Nefertimon. Many people think that MangaAngemon evolves into Pegasmon, or Angewomon evolves into Neferimon, but that's not how it works. Pegasmon is a Champion digimon, just like Angemon, and Nefertimon is an Ultimate, like Angewomon. The same is true for the three new kids digimon. Each of them have two possible digivolutions as well. Hawkmon can evolve into either Shurimon, or Horusmon, Armadimon can evolve into either Digmon, or Submarimon, and Buimon can evolve into either Friedramon, or Raidramon.


Each of the children were chosen a different way to become digidestined. The original Eight digidestined all saw the fight between Greymon and Parrotmon, and that's how they were chosen. Daisuke saw the battle between greymon and parrotmon as well, and unlike many people say, he is not Tai's cousin. Iori was one of the children who was brought before Myotismon when he was looking for the eighth child, and that's how he was chosen. Miyako saw the fight between the evil computer digimon and the digidestineds' digimon through her computer in the second movie, and that's how she was chosen.


The reason that the children must go back to the digiworld is that there is now an evil digidestined; Satoru Ichijouji, who is 11 years old and lives with his parents back in the real world. Using his alias, The Digimon Kaizer, he is trying to use the digital world to take over the real world, along with his evil digimon; Wormmon. Although The Kaizer's main digimon is Wormmon, he has the power to control other Digimon as well, making him an even more formidable opponent.

Info: Daisuke looks much like Izzy, with Joe's boots. He is on the same soccer team as Taichi, and Tai is his hero. Taichi gave Daisuke his goggles (no Tai! Why?!) for some odd reason. Daisuke seems to have a little crush on Hikari. He is very jealous of her friendship with Takeru, because she pays more attention to Takeru than himself. Daisuke looks like the energetic type, ne? He was one of the children who witnessed the battle between Parrotmon and Greymon, and that is the reason he is a Chosen Child/DigiDestined.

Info: Miyako looks like a mix of Joe and Sora, eh? She's got glasses, is in 6th grade like Joe was in Season 01 and she has a funky helmet-like thing like Sora in Season 01 ('cept it's orange). In the second Digimon movie, when she was a little younger, she helped out the original DigiDestined in a fight on the internet against evil Digimon. That's how she was chosen. I've heard she can be a trouble maker at times, but other than that a prety mellow person.

Armor(s): Sincerity (Reliability) and Knowledge
Info: At first I thought Iori was a girl, but how could you tell? This little kid looks like he's dressed up as one of the 4 Generals of Queen Berrol in Sailor Moon. He also looks like a deprived little boy too. I mean, if you look at his face he looks so... depressed! I dunno what's goin' on in his family, but get the kid some toys! He was one of the children brought before Myotismon when he was searching for the 8th child (Hikari). You won't see him in that episode though, because this was made up after that.

Info: Takeru is back and in style baby! He's the young japanese anime version of GILLIGAIN FROM GILLIGAN'S ISLAND! Not really... ^^;;; This time though, Takeru's VA (voice actor) is a grown man, not a female that sounds like a young boy! Takeru has grown up so much!!! WWWWAAAAAHHHHH!

Info: HIKARI IS THE MOST AWESOME OF THE 5 MAIN DIGIDESTINED FOR SEASON 02! She has totally developed her own fasion sense, which earns her a 2 thumbs up from me! But, in real life, maybe 1 and a 1/2... But oh-my-gawd, she is just so awesome I can stop screaming! WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!!

I can't believe Mimi's also in Season two! Looks like she likes pink hair and gems!
