CLASSES CULTURAL ACTIVITIES TUTORIALS The program is designed to help you: Speak English more fluently Communicate more effectively Feel comfortable in social situations with Americans Understand American customs and attitudes Meet new friends Prepare for TOFEL and GRE, and Improve your reading and writing (GRE classes will be only held if there is enough demand) Classes will meet Monday through Thursday evenings from 7:00-9:30 p.m. in Bartlett Hall (next to Goodell and behind Herter). TO REGISTER, COME TO CLASS on Monday, February 9, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. (BARTLETT HALL, ROOM 61 in the basement). CULTURAL ACTIVITIES will include opportunities to meet and socialize with Americans. These activities will help you understand the sometimes-confusing habits and customs of your American colleagues and give you the chance to practice your English in social situations. TUTORIALS: We hope to arrange for American students to come to your class once a week (or, possibly more) for a conversational hour. WE LOOK FORWARD TO WORKING WITH YOU!
