I have been a nudist since I was about 8 yrs old. I guess I started
when I quit wearing PJ's to bed. I hated the way that they would get all
twisted around my body during the night. In the morning, I would find quite often,
that sometime during the night I had taken them off. I liked the way if felt
not wearing them, so I would just go to bed without them.
About this same time, a friend and I started staying over at each
others house on the weekends, like kids do at that age. I found out he
hated PJ's also. This was great news! Not only did I not have to wear
any while at his place, but it made me feel better about not wearing them
because now I wasn't the only one that felt that way!!
One weekend shortly after, I was staying over and he and I were
in his room getting ready for bed. Now whether he told his mom or not, I
don't know, but his mom entered the room for something and she had no clothes
on. After she left I asked him about it. He finally told me that the only
time his mom, sister (1 yr older) , or he wore clothes at home was when there
was company over.
We went and talked to his mom and sister about it and how I felt, and
that was the last time I had to wear clothes over at their house. I would
come into the house and fold my stuff neatly into a pile at the door.
This was great!!! They would quite often go to a lake near by for picnics and
swimming, now I knew why. Now they would take me also. I love the feel of
water, the sun, the breeze on my bare skin.
I haven't seen them since I was 14 yrs old and moved out of the area,
but the last time I saw them, they were still nudists. I feel I owe the
family a lot. From them I learned body acceptance, I learned that nudity
was not wrong, and I learned about body changes in young teens. I never
thought at the time to thank them for introducing me to the world of nudism,
so I am now. Thank you!
By the way, I am 52 now, and still do not wear PJ's!
