Watercolour Artist

Hal Bilz

As a former Advertising Design / Illustrator Hal has directed his talents

towards fine art. Watercolours have become his passion.

His paitings have been displayed and sold at the Riverdale Art walk

for the last seven years. The Scarborough Arts Council juried show has

consistently chosen his work for their yearly exhibition.

In the “Open Water 2004” juried show, sponsored by the

Canadian Society of Painters in watercolours, one of Hals

paintings was chosen along with watercolours from across Canada.

Hal is a member of the Scarborough Arts Council

and Art Guild of Scarborough.

Besides painting, Hal carves wood, builds furniture and makes toys.

He also is an ardent writer of short stories and children's stories

which he illustrates.
