The
Ambassador Class starship Enterprise under the command of
Captain Rachel Garrett, was lost in a battle with the Romulans
in 2344. It is the second largest Starship Enterprise.
This model represents the standard version of the
Ambassador Class. The kit was built with no major modifications.
The
Deflector is painted Mat Sky Blue with Horizon Blue over top.
Phaser banks are Dark Gull Gray. The intakes behind the Bussard
collectors are Testors' Zinc Chromate.
Decals are
from this kit and the AMT Enterprise-D kit for the registry and
names.
The hull basecoat is Camouflage Gray, with major panels painted
in Flat Gull Gray and Medium Gray. Lifeboats are painted Sand
and the Bussard collectors are tinted with Gunze-Sangyo Transparent
Red.
The movie era Starfleet insignias come from the small symbols in
the AMT Reliant kit. The name 'Enterprise' on the shuttlebay
deck is a decal from the Enterprise-D kit.
The following is the known information about the Enterprise-C
dedication plaque. The launch date is only speculation, but we
know that the ship was destroyed by Romulans in 2344.
