Unless otherwise noted, chapter meetings are free to NAON members. To cover the cost of obtaining contact hours, there will be a charge for all visitors (non-NAON members) who wish to receive the CEU certificate.

To join our chapter:

If you are not a member of NAON, you must fill out an application. Join from the NAON web site online registration form. List DONI #034 as your local chapter.
If you are already a NAON member-at-large, please join our chapter. You should to complete a transfer form to join DONI chapter #034. This transfer form is available from national or at any chapter meeting.

We believe that the specialty of orthopaedic nursing should set forth the highest standards of nursing practice for optimum patient care.
We are committed to the advancement of the profession of nursing. We believe that educational programs which foster personal and professional growth will develop competence and excellence in nursing practice for the orthopaedic nurse.
We suggest and encourage research and advanced clinical practice as the foundation for expertise in nursing practice.

Goals:

1) Enhance Personal and professional growth through contiuing education programs on the local level.
2) Encourage the individual member to participate in the growth and development of the organization.
