Well, I don't really have anything to say this time, but I feel like writing. As of 12:30 yesterday, I was finished with exams, and basically on summer vacation. Now I only have to go to school to practice for the graduation, to pick up my summer reading, and to get my report card.
Speaking of report cards.... I wonder how I did on my exams... I know that everyone (anyone) who reads this will think that I have nothing to worry about, but I just have two (three) words for them: IB Science. Anyone who wrote that exam knows exactly what I'm talking about. I have never written such a difficult exam. It's inexplicable how difficult it was. And the heat didn't help much either. Nor did my cold. Leave it to me to get a cold right before exams in scorching heat!
Anyway, Science was impossible, but then there was History. History didn't seem like it went that badly, but now I'm having second thoughts... thoughts like, "Did I even prove my thesis statement?" or "Did what I write have anything to DO with my thesis statement?" Thoughts like that are not good for your self-esteem.
But it's all over, and there's nothing that I can do about it. (Short of going back in time, or sneaking into the school and changing things...) So now I'm just left to relaxing at home. Well, I would be relaxing, but I'm in a bad mood. Do you want to know why I'm in a bad mood? Of course you do. Or stupid septic system, that we didn't even have to get, is broken. We can't use any water. Doesn't that sound like fun. Now, that wouldn't be so bad, except I can't go swimming either. The pool was already to be swam in. All we needed was warm weather. About two weeks ago, our pool sprung a leak, and emptied itself out. We had to get the pool people to come and replace the liner. That took a while, and then we had to fill it back up from the bottom, which took a really long time. Then, we had to wait for ever for the pool people to come again, and cut the holes for the pump. Now that that has been done, the pool is a mess- completely dirty. So now we have to clean it out again. Won't that be fun!
Anyway, that's enough for this time around. I needed to get that off my chest.
