Hello, I am trying to find anyone who may be related to my Uncle.
His name was George Rouse TINDALE and he was born in Perth Western Australia in 1912.
His parents were Florence Louisa Tindale and Thomas Edward Tindale. His sister was Edna May Tindale.
I believe he moved to Melbourne upon his marriage but I havent been able to trace a marriage certificate or a death certificate for him.Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Am looking for the death of a Bridget O'Brien, came to Australia in 1883 on the ship "Melpomene" arriving in Queensland.
Her husband Cornelius, children Ellen & Mary lived in Queensland for around two years. They settled in Murrurundi. N.S.W.
Cornelius died 15/8/1919, he was 82 years old. As for Bridget I haven't a clue, been searching for years so am hoping you maybe able to help.
Both Cornelius & Bridget were born in Ireland, the girls were born in Bristol, England.

1855 arrived on 'PUNJAB', occupation baker, resided Pt Adelaide, Sth Aust m.Catherine BRYANT/BROWN(?) 15/10/1855 in Adelaide, Sth Aust aged approx. 21/23.
Had sons Henry John & George 1874-85 lived at High St, St. Kilda (Vic)
My Brick Wall is the Surname of Catherine. Documents I have state that she was BRYANT & further on it becomes BROWN (I wonder if it is a pronunciation problem?).
Henry John (the son) painter/wall-paper hanger, b.1859 Prahran Lived at High St, St. Kilda prior to marriage. to Jane ROBERTSON 28/12/1882 at Registrar of Marriages office, 146 Gore St, Fitzroy/Collingwood, aged 23.
Marriage Certificate states son of Catherine BRYANT! His Death Certificate ditto. He died in 1938, aged 79.
I'd also like to know when Hy Jn & Catherine EASTWOOD arrived in Victoria & where they lived?

Father Thomas shown as ‘gentleman’ on marriage cert which shows him marrying Gladys Rosina Dumbleton, Willesden, Middlesex, UK 10.6.1916
His rank/profession Sergeant, Scots Guards, living at time of marriage in Auchenflower, Brisbane.
Did his family arrive in Australia as immigrants or were they convicts?

Iam trying to find the family of my husbands gggramothers Benjamin HILL and his wife Susan {Nee Smith] found them in Hobart Town when Maria was born 1839.
Then in Gayndah N.S.W. now Qld in 1855 when Maria and George Robinson married.
Also trying to find George's brother Benjamin Robinson.
Do not know when he came to Australia, date, ship,The 2 brother's changed their names from Robertson to Robinson.

Seeking any information on, Gullielmo (William) Moore,.
Born about 1818, place unknown. Died 1884 Hobart Tasmania.
Married 1827, Hobart Tassie, Anna Peate. I have not been able to find Anna's birth date. Did find one in Tasmania, 1822 Luanceston.
But this date has to be wrong. As there twin son's Joannes, and Georgius, born 1827 Hobart Tasmania.
Hope someone will be able to give me some leads?

Edward David MURRAY , born 1851 and died 1922 married Mary Ann PRICE in 1878 at Esperance Tasmania.
They had 11 children one of which was Walter who was born in 1884 in Gordan, Tasmania.

My Grandmother, Lucy Marion BRADSTREET, according to Family History, was born Lucy Marion BURTON, daughter of Henry BURTON, of Burton's Circus fame, in about 1866.
We have never been able to find a record of her birth.

Daughter Christine Mary born England 20 June 1947.
They came to Australia in 1951 on an Assisted Passage. leaving England 16th May 1951 and they arrived in Canberra 1951.
The last address in 1954 was 20 Minor Street, Echuca,Victoria.

My brickwall has been trying to trace any information regarding my Uncle and family.
His name was George Rouse TINDALE and he was born in Western Australia around 1913.
His parents were Florence Louisa Tindale formerly ROUSE and Thomas Edward Tindale.
My mother was his sister and she was Edna May ATTWELL formerly Tindale.
My Uncle left Western Australia when he married and travelled to the Eastern States(not sure of location) and never returned.

My brick wall is ANDREWS Alfred William born Buningyong Victoria in approximately 1848.
Cannot find his birth on the East Coast.
Father is Captain Henry ANDREWS and Margaret POLLARD.
Alfred married Sarah Ann OWEN in Toowoomba in 1874.
Henry was in the 44th Foot Regiment.
Any info on the regiment would be good too.

Hi, I am trying to trace any descendents of my Grandfather’s Family and have hit “the Wall”.
My Grandfather was William Howdle Parker b 1893 Leeds Yorkshire England.
He deserted my grandmother in 1922 Western Australia Perth and was never heard of again. He had family in Perth Area and I have traced them as far as the deaths of the following people.
Frank Fox Parker (father)
Margaret (Stubbs) Parker (mother)
FLORENCE May Parker ( Sister)
Ada Louise Parker (sister)
James Herbert Parker (brother)
They all originated from Leeds Yorkshire and are all Buried in Karrakatta cemetery Perth.
I would love to make contact with any of their decendants to find out if my Grandfather ever resurfaced. He was in the Scots Guards 1911-1919 and fought in WW!. .
He had a gunshot wound to his nose and a tattoo of an anchor on his right forearm.
My Grandmother was pregnant with my farther when he left and my Dad knows very little about his father.
Now in his 80’s I have taken over his search. Hoping there is someone out there who can give us a leg up.

I am trying to trace my ggg grandfather James Wright married to Elizabeth Bennett.
Their son also James, my gg grandfather, came with them when he was around 2 or 3 years old in c1857.
James the son was married to Mary Ann Cantwell in 1880 at St Nicholl's roman catholic church in Tamworth.
It is James and Elizabeth I am interested in. On my gg grandfather's death certificate it says he was born in Belfast Ireland.
I would be most grateful if someone out there could help me with this brick wall that I have with the Wrights.
How did they get here and what part of Ireland did they really come from. I always believed that they came from County Cork until I got the death certificate.
The Cantwells I can trace back to around the 1700's but the Wrights have me at a standstill.

FRY Families I am looking for Violet Emily Josephine Marion Fry.
Born 1884 at Rose Valey Vegetable Creek (Now EMMAVILLE} NSW. Violet left Drake in the Tenterfield district about 1900 with her mother & 3 brothers John,Christopher & Alfred & eventually settled in Cairns in 1902 in 1908 she married Thomas William Dagleish they had 3 children but in 1922 she ran away with a Jockey believed named Morris) & no one has heard of her since or been able to find out where she died.
Her brother John left the family in Rockhampton on there way north & the rumour goes he changed his name from Samson John Fry but no one has found out to what he changed to.

I am currently researching my family history and am looking for PATTON relatives. Brothers Stanley Patton (Born 9/7/1890 died 23/5/1942) and Alexander Falconer Patton (born 1895) emigrated to Australia.
My grandfather James Patton was their eldest brother and there were other brothers and sisters - Henry William Patton (born 1887); Andrew Patton ( born 1889) Ellen Ritchie Patton ( born 1895) and Isabella Rogerson Patton (born 1900).
All children were born in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, to parents Andrew Patton and Jane Eleanor (Ellen) nee Ritchie who were married in Alnwick, Northumberland, in 1884.
Stanley's WW1 & WW2 service records appear on the NAA website. He married a Katie (Kathleen) Dodge and I know they had at least one son , Fredrick Stanley, born 23/6/1922 in Barmera. Stanley worked in the 1920's for the Irrigation Commission in SA.
I know Alexander (Alec) lived in the Adelaide area and family stories indicate he may have married a sister of Kathleen Dodge. He had at least one daughter called Helen who married a Don Campbell and they lived in Lyneham, ACT, in the 1960's & 70's.
They had a daughter Susan who married in the early 1970's and her surname was Medway. She had two daughters and later divorced.
Any information would be great.

Am looking for the BRUNHOBER/BRUNHABER/BRUNHOEBER and other variants!
family, emigrated to New Zealand from Old German State of Hannover via London in 1861, sailed on the Mystery.
Lived outside Christchurch - Hoon Hay until 1878 when they disappeared totally.
It is believed they moved from New Zealand to Australia, and then eventually London, arriving by August 1889.
Possibly some marriages and births in Australia 1878 onwards?

My brickwall is one Sarah WOOLFREY (nee Dunkley).
She was born 1834, Eng. Married Alfred Woolfrey, 1857 Hobart.
Had two children to Edward Hessler whilst married to Alfred, whom divorced Sarah.
I have been unable to find death for Sarah..I checked to see if she had remarried..no luck.
No death listed in the name of Woolfrey so where do I go from here.

Had 2 known daughters, Mary Stanislaus Holmes (m Charles BANKS 1900, d 1907 at Yarragon Vic) b c1879 at North Fitzroy Vic,

Neither girl's birth registered.
Mary & her husband Charles lived in Ballan for a period and then moved to Yarragon where he managed a property at Allambee.

The only information I have is:

I have a Brickwall - My G Grandfather, Lawrence BOWEN b c 1856 -
(Marriage cert. says Westmeath Ireland) - sailed from Glasgow on a ship called the "Loch Shiel" -
working his way to Australia, landing in Port Philip in 1878.
He married Annie HANAWAY b 1861 in Melbourne 1884. They had 13 children.
I have been unable to find the named parents( on marrige cert)of Lawrence Bowen.
They are WILLIAM BOWEN (Farmer) and MARIA HICKEY.
Would love to know if Lawrence had any brothers or sisters.

I have been searching for many years for the ancestors of my father Joseph ADAMS.
I have never found any record of his birth anywhere in the world .. he was supposed to have been born 1879/1889
...I have search what I think every avenue... recently found a lead that could go somewhere.
Bridget ADAMS nee ELLIGETT married in Sth OZ and was widowed im 1892 but only 1 child was registered.
I believe she and family moved to VIC after the death of Michael ADAMS but I cannot find out what happened
to her and if she had more kids with her not registered.
I would like to get her death date and cert.

This Lady taught at St. Killians School, Bendigo about 1970-75. Preps or Grade 1.
