VA's PRINTABLE FORMS.
This official VA list of pension forms would be unusable without the guidance of the new Veterans Aid and Attendance Kit. The official VA list contains irrelevant forms, leaves out needed forms, and is horribly unorganized. Yet this is the VA's official forms list. No wonder Veterans and families need the new Kit to guide them.
Developer of Veterans Aid and Attendance Kit is Senior Citizen Advocate Jim "Zig" Zeigler, a Nationally-Accredited Veterans Attorney. Zeigler runs a nationwide service representing Veterans anywhere in planning how to meet the assets test and income test to qualify for Aid and Attendance benefit. Complete resources are in the Kit to represent yourself OR know why and when it would be wiser to retain an Accredited Veterans Attorney.
Zeigler was plaintiff in the federal lawsuit challenging the restrictive new Medicaid nursing home law.
The Florida Academy of Elder Law Attorneys featured Zeigler as keynote speaker at their December 2006 annual seminar. 102 elder law attorneys heard Zeigler's program.
The North Carolina Bar Association's Section of Elder Law Attorneys featured Zeigler and his program at their October 29, 2010 seminar in Cary, NC. Ninety elder law attorneys heard Zeigler's program.

INCORRECT INFORMATION: There is an epidemic of wrong information about the Aid and Attendance benefit. Even the name is sometimes called Veterans pension, improved pension, enhanced pension, special pension, VA pension, Aide and Attendance, or Aid and Assistance. Also, there is a world of confusion between Aid and Attendance on the one hand and Veterans disability compensation on the other hand (sometimes called "service-related disability," DIC, or Veterans disability income). If you apply for the wrong benefit, months will go by and then you will of course be denied, costing you thousands. This costly mistake can be avoided by claimants using the new kit or an Accredited Veterans Attorney.
