Are Men & Women Equal? (Question # 1)

Men and Women have different qualites and strengths that when it all comes down

Shannon Ernst: Sure! No they're not equal. It is impossiable to compare them. I'd like to think that everyone is the same but who are we kidding. For the sake of Argument. WOMEN rule.! :0) Only cuz I am one though!
Nova Smith:Of course not! We pertend that both men and women are equal,but the turth is
that in certain areas men are more powerful then women, ie politically ( though
that is slowly changing) and in other cases women are more powerful then men ie
domestically ( though that is changing to)

strenghts and abilites.

Wow the question of the ages...are men and women equal? The answer is no we are
not. Regardless of how much we wish we were, we were created very differently as
human beings. Our physical bodies alone indicate how different we really are.
Sure we can be equal intellectually and in physical strength,but we will always
see and deal with things in a different light due to the way we were raised
throughout our lives. It is a well known fact that boys and girls are raised in
non similar ways. Women get to deal with the joys and pains of reproduction and
motherhood while men merely get to add their sperm and enjoy fatherhood. Both
experiences are very different. The experiences are much different. Men tend to
show their emotions to a much lesser degree than women do. You see our lives are
influenced by the things we experience throughout our lifetimes. So as I said
before,women and men are not created equal. If we were the world would be a very
boring place. Who would get lost becau!
se they were too stubborn to ask for directions? Who would watch football on a
Sunday while eating nuts and drinking beer? Who would young ladies go to talk to
when they started their menstrual cycles? These are the questions that would be
asked if we were all created equal..for it wouldn't matter any more. In the
world we live in it would be great but it is impossible. It will never happen.
We weren't meant to be exactly the same. That's what makes us get along so well.

to overcome this male society

They are different but equal. They may have pros and cons in different areas, but yes, I think overall they

Are Men and Women equal?? Well, they are supposed to be, each has their own
strengths and weaknesses which the other might pick up on. In todays society
though, women were treated as a minority but now they are slowly climbing up the
professional ladder and becoming equal. ITs even evident today (example RCMP)
that a white, male is becoming a minority. Don't laugh its true. The RCMP is
taking women and minorities over men who might have the same qualifications.
I think that (for jobs anyways) that the best person be chosen for the job.
If it happens to be a man fine, woman fine.
Andre:There is no way i can say this with
out being sexist so right off the bat men are superior in more ways to women
then women are to men.Sorry i offened eerybody but the facts are there...over
history men have taken control of power demanded respect from everyone made more
important discoveries and have basically ruled the earth.Now if you are talking
about human worth no person is any better then any other and we all have our
talents and weaknesses so there should be no discreptioncy between the genders
but there is weather or not any one admits it stats do show that even in the
work place men get paid more for the same job.I don't think it should be this
way it just is.

I think that men are the superior being and that women should just stay at home.
Men are stronger, smarter and better people. Woman can work, but its highly
discouraged. MEN ARE THE KINGS OF THE WORLDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
RedHaiku:Tell me men are superior to women in 50 years when you are dead, and the women
your age are still alive.
Also, don't forget genetics. For any disease or diasabilities having to do with
gender, men are more than 100 times more likely to get it, and some of them
women can't even get at all.
Men have advantages in things like maths, and physical strenth, but women are
more communicative and intuitive.
It does even out.
Peter Stuart:Yes, men and women are equal. But there are definitly things men do better and
vise-versa. One couldn't survive without the other although it does seem that
men have better leadership roles. Its also very true that we can get our most
important advice from women, they can organize. I believe that there are
definitly certain jobs for men and certain ones for women.
Jessica Steven:Men and WOMEN equal???????? That is the stupidest question ever! It is just
soooooo obvious! I mean who doesn't know the answer to that question?? The right
answer I mean! God if there is anyone out there who thinks that men and WOMEN
are equal they have another thing coming! I mean, everyone knows that WOMEN are
just that much better than men! God, how could someone even ask that
question????
