Pattie's Page

Hi, my name is Pattie Shea This is my page, I hope you enjoy it.

Although born in New Brunswick, my brother, sister, and I grew up in Sydney River,on Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia, one of the most beautiful spots in Canada. People from Cape Breton (Capers) are among the friendliest you will find and love to have a good time.

I now live in Cape Jack, near Havre Boucher, in Antigonish County. It is a very quiet place along the coastline of the Atlantic, just minutes from Cape Breton and country living at it's best.

Pat, my husband of over 35 years is now retired. He was a long term employee of Nova Scotia Power Inc. We have lived in several places over the years but have been here for over 26 years. Pat grew up in near by Guysborough County and we enjoy spending time over there.

We have two children. Our daughter Teena has a Business Degree from St. Francis Xavier University. She and her mate, Howie, are currenty living in Australia. They seem to like it a bit much there so we are not sure if they will stay there for a long time or not.

Our son Marc graduated from Sr. John Hugh Gillis Regional High School and went on to take a heavy equipment course at Strait Campus of the Nova Scotia Community College. He and his fiance, Aimee, were married in Vernon, BC on September 22, 1007 and our granddaughter Sadie was born there. They have since moved back to Alberta.

We currently have a dog. Abe is a Boxer/Springer mix and quite the handfull.

Meet my family.

Nova Scotia is a place where just about anyone can find something to do with free time. Here are a few of the many activities we enjoy here.

During the warmer months

In the cooler months

Nova Scotia is a province where most people live a quiet life . Although fishing and farming are prominent in most rural areas, many people must travel to larger places to work. People enjoy a basically quiet life and along with tourists enjoy the many heritage and cultural events, and festivals taking place all around the province.

Here are some great links to our province, come and visit.

I love to travel around and visit the home pages of friends I have met here, they are all so different, interesting, and fun. There is just so much to learn, see and do. So many sites to visit.

These are some of my favorite places to visit on the web

There are many fun things to do on the internet. If you enjoy card games or board games as well as other interactive playing you are in luck, as there are countless sites to use.

These are tha places where I like to play.
