water's story
Tuesday, 22 June 2004

Do you remember the river that caught on fire? Is all well water safe to drink? How did mercury get into our lakes and rivers?

I tell water's story, and do this in a variety of ways. I use a sand tank which demonstrates, among other things, how aquifers fill with water, how water moves underground, and how it can become contaminated.

I will come to your school, your place of business, your club, your church. My program is flexible and can be adapted to different age groups, and to a certain extent emphases. I have done demonstrations with a seniors group, at church, and with a kindergarten, and each presentation was enjoyed immensely.

I live in the Haverhill, Massachusetts and I am licensed with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts D.E.P. Board of Certification of Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators 4-IW&I. I have had 20+ years of experience working in public health, so am familiar with, and can understand how environmental toxins can affect one's health.
