Most people who see me but don't "know" me would never think that I was depressed. But those who know me know that I have dealt with this disease for quite some time. I also suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Add a little PTSD (much better now) and self-injury (also gone now) on top of all that and I've quite the psychological study. I was on Prozac for a while in middle school but that did more harm than good. I was on a combination of Wellbutrin and Luvox all through high school and college and that worked very well. Recently I've been taken off of the Wellbutrin because I started having seizures after my car wreck. They don't make brand name Luvox any more and the generic isn't working quite the same so I have very recently been switched to Zoloft. Hopefully that will work well also! Through all of the battles, my family and friends have been very good to me and very understanding. It takes a lot of patience, some times, to deal with me. Lance, my best friend, has always been there for me when I go "insane" lol. And since I've met Chris, he's been a wonderful shoulder that's always there for me too. I know that I am very trying and frustrating and exhausting and I love them both dearly for being there for me despite all of that. This page of links have been and are helpful and interesting for me.
