These are some of the nicest things anyone has ever done for or to me, and Chris is the one who did them. I'm so glad I met him! I'm not used to people being so nice to me lol but it certainly makes my heart smile! I'd never heard the expression "bee's knees" before until Chris said it about something and I think it is very cute lol ... just like Chris ;-) We met in April 2002 and I quickly fell in love with him. We were engaged in February 2004 and married in April 2004.

He married me, bought us a brand new house and takes good care of me and the animals!
He lives with us 6 girls and doesn't complain - often (me, two female dogs, a female bird, 3 female guinea pigs - and the only other male, a beta fish)
He made a book (with construction paper and crayons!) about why he loves me :-)
He keeps all the silly things I make or give him
When we were dating, he drove over an hour (each way) to see me at least once a week! Because of my wreck and all the seizures I couldn't drive so he had to come get me. Sometimes he drove all the way to pick me up then BACK to Atlanta with me and then BACK to take me home then back to his house again. Or from Atlanta to Winder to Athens back to Winder back to Atlanta. (And he used to drive all the way to Dahlonega to see me at school)
We had a conversation about Skittles once after one of our first dates and discovered we both like the red ones best (and I like purple too, the rest I throw away lol) and the next time he came to see me, he brought me a whole baggy full of red and purple skittles! And even now when he has skittles he gives me (most of) the red and purple ones!
Every time we go by a pet store, he lets me go in and spend forever getting bird toys lol. And he lets me spend literally hours in bookstores without complaining.
He loves and pays attention to my dogs, cat, bird, and even the guinea pigs!
He sent me flowers when I graduated since he was out of town for work.
He brought me flowers for no reason! He sent me flowers on the first day of school, my first day teaching - and a week later on my birthday! He sent me flowers for Halloween ... the week of HIS birthday! :-)
He brought flowers home from the grocery store once, too! On April 3, 2003 - a year before we got married - he sent me flowers for our "negative first" anniversary. On Mother's Day he sent me flowers to the "future mother of his children!"
He let Susan jump all over him the first day he met my girls ... and he didn't even complain. And he took us all to Chuck E. Cheese (TWICE) and was so good with them.
He calls me adorable :-)and tells me I'm pretty.
He stayed with me 3 of the 4 nights I was in the hospital for the long-term monitored EEG and was there every day, putting up with me even though I was irritable and miserable, playing games with me constantly.
He pretends to like all the stupid cheesy silly stuff I make for him lol (he even hung a picture I colored for him up on his refrigerator for a while). AND he had two pictures I colored FRAMED and hanging on his wall in the condo.
He plays with my hair when we are watching TV or a movie or in bed or anywhere really.
He rubs my neck while he is driving.
He kisses me at redlights (all of them) :-)
He reads a Winnie the Pooh book to me over the phone (and in person) when I can't sleep.
Sometimes, when I kiss him, he gets a cute goofy grin on his face and then kinda shudders and says "thank you!"
He took me out of town for the weekend on a sad anniversary so I would have a happy memory of time spent with him instead
We were in Savannah at Tybee Island and he saved my life. Literally. I was in the ocean and had a seizure and was unconscious and he pulled me to the beach and had someone call the ambulance.
He is so good with the kids in my class. He went on a CBI trip, field day, and read on Drop Everything And Read day. He comes to eat lunch or just hang out with them and they love him.
He's just so darn cute lol ... Look!

A message to chris

Guess what!! A message to the world!
