About me…

16 year old Kasey Ward is a junior at AHS. She is currently the Animas FFA Chapter President.  Kasey’s favorite part of FFA is showing lambs because she enjoys fairs.  In addition, Kasey also likes to play basketball, dance, hang out with her friends, and wood working.  Kasey’s goals as chapter president are to encourage people to be in FFA, be competitive, and achieve their goals.  In the future, Kasey plans to go to college at NMSU and become a counselor.

Q.  Why did you decide to become a member of FFA?

 

A.  I like to do woodwork and show animals.

 

 

Q.  What is your favorite part of FFA, & why?

 

A.  My favorite part of FFA is showing lambs because I like fairs.

 

 

Q.  What do you think a leader is?  What makes a good leader?

 

A.  A leader is a role model for younger members.  They must be hardworking, dedicated and work with others.

 

 

Q.  What do you wish to accomplish be being an FFA member?

 

A.  I want to be competitive and help others to achieve their goals.

 

 

Q.  What are your hobbies?

 

A.  Playing basketball, dancing, showing lambs and going to fairs.

 

 

Q.  What does FFA mean to you?

 

A.  FFA is an organization that gives students an opportunity to compete, and learn life skills.

 

 

Q.  What are your future plans?

 

A.  I plan to go to collage at New Mexico State and be a Counselor.
